I miss these kind of inventories. So clear, stylized, and weirdly comfy. Nowadays, it's all some annoying "realtime" hologram bullshit and shit.

Comfy Inventory/menue thread, go

I've always found this kind of inventory system more stressful than comfy

...

Huh...2 maces? never seen someone rally that type of weaponry.

...

Shit I'm an idiot it's literally been like 10 years since I played D2...That's a two handed weapon I guess?

...

Youre a faggot and you should play more games

Leon's weapons were better than Claire's, fight me.

The bowgun was a piece of shit.

No shit. But Claire has more health or so I was told. Leon gets weapon upgrades even.

...

I agree, kind of, I like inventory tetris but it is more about the visuals that make it comfy for me.

Pandora's Tower on wii

The best.

pretty sure she was faster but had lower hp

Was RE4 the first game to popularize the "tetris block inventory" meme?

Resident Evil 4 is probably one of my favorite Inventory systems. Everything felt like just the right size, and you had just the right amount of space.

Alone In The Dark

>the crossbow shoots 3 bolts in a cone

What the fuck was even going on here? If you wanted a spread weapon, just give her the shotgun too, if you just wanted a crossbow in the game, just make it a slow, powerful single shot weapon with retrievable ammo.

Too big and casualized also too many weapons for a supposed "survival horror"

...

...

re4 wasn't even trying to be survival horror, it just jumped right over to a slow paced shooter

They never advertised it as survival horror.

The back of the game box in fact outright states that it isn't.
