Let's have a Nier automata thread without the fucking worms who post 2B all day, can we?
>Daily reminder
Only doing VH on first run will let you enjoy the game in the long run:
>Every new encounter will be a death or life situation >You will master the game >You will understand the world and the fear of this eternal clash with machines >You will enjoy more every little part of the journey because of your hardships >It will prepare you for the VH mandatory final boss >You will be unstopable, miles better than /dsg players >But what is more important You will become a man, my son!
No joke, I was going to buy the game on PS4 but because of the cancerous fanbase that cropped up I'll just pirate it on PC instead
GG fags :^)
Easton Cooper
We will protect his smile?
Jaxon Collins
Where does the tomato thing come from, anyway?
Ethan Ramirez
Jap pronunciation, probably
Austin Russell
Is that a ps4 theme? How do I get it?
Luke Fisher
Tomatoes are juicy like 2B's robutt
Isaiah Hall
So, the moon base seems pretty cool and stuff, but once the androids are drop in earth there is no way to return to bunker. I don't want to lose that home base, the resistance camp doesn't appeal me too much.
Lincoln Jackson
I thought its a girl.
Jacob Young
I think they gave you when you preorder the gameafter completing the demo, not sure though
Isaiah Murphy
It has Emil voice so we don't know exactly, it sounds like a shota but... Dunno, also
>Robot, no genitals, no need to have one gender
Hudson Martinez
Just read the video description. You have to preorder the game on psn.
Have we seen any gameplay footage of this place? Maybe Opera boss I guess, something more?
Easton Hill
>moon base it's a satellite and you can probably return there with the flying device
Dylan Garcia
I hate to say this, but i don't like the vocals in this song. The instrumental version feels more calmer, the voice just ruins it, sorry.
Charles Peterson
Unless you and your shota friend become rogue, and we both know that will happen
Aiden Gutierrez
No gameplay footage, but it does seem to be in the game.
Jonathan Jones
How can mankind leave earth if mankind is extinct? are they referring to the replicants as "mankind"?
Eli Ramirez
In original Nier we had multiple cities/villages. Lets list the new ones:
>Pascal village >Resistance camp >Moon/Satelite base
And my wild guessing would add another in the desert zone.
Angel Jenkins
In some places of the world the gestalts fused with their replicants before papa Nier mass murdered japanazi shades and killed Shadowlord. But those few and some bazillon years they could repoblate the entire planet
Bentley Fisher
No, some humans managed to reform.
Xavier Butler
we havent see any others they said there's more than one settlement, but that's it
Nathaniel Sanders
Yeah, probably you mean this image
Cooper Lewis
Didn't know this, thanks
Jason Young
Played the demo once, then deleted it.
Logan Anderson
>tfw when you will gather moon tears with a drop rate of 0,01%
Eli Lee
>that pubic hair
Aaron Hall
Polpola and Devola have to attone for their sins, yeah, the sins who were done by ther sisters a 78 lifetimes ago, yeah, those ones.
Are they retarded drunk breeding robots?
Adam Gutierrez
>Very hard >No lock on
Why
Austin Smith
I mean the use of "tomato" to refer to a cyborg/impostor
Logan Allen
2B is the breeding robot
Carson Martin
When best girl will return?
Isaiah Phillips
Whats even the point in lock on? It kills the joy of bullet hells
Kayden Gonzalez
if you want easy mode then play on easy mode
Jackson Cooper
I was just going to play it on hard while taking photos of Toobie's bum but you've convinced me.
Levi Ross
Its confirmed she'll atleast be mentioned. that in of itself implies the overall story of just what the fuck this series is about wont be concluded within Automata
Jacob Wilson
Glad to hear it brother, the church of the VH is the true way to enjoy this ride to another level
Gabriel Russell
Good (old) news to shota haters, Pascal is a companion in the game, but this arises another question: Who else joining the fray? 2A? Eve? youtube.com/watch?v=Hs7fnS0UAIk
Kevin King
>Fucking pascal can propulse herself with his ass, literally
Nathaniel Green
Friendly reminder that if you haven't collected and fully ugraded every weapon in Drakengard 1 you don't deserve to play Automata.
VH? Is that like hard mode or something? Is there a trophy for it? Keep in mind I haven't been following the trailers, gameplay showings or demo because I want to go in completely blind like I did with the first.
About the PC port, do we know if it'll support 144hz monitors yet? If not I'll probably get it on PS4 for the platinum. Platinum the first game without a guide took for fucking ever, but it was so much fun.
Jason Nguyen
Is VH hardest difficulty
Asher Peterson
on very hard everything kills you in one hit they said the PC release is locked at 60fps
Nolan Reed
VH is one of the difficulty levels on the demo, and the main game, of course. The beauty of Very Hard is everythin one-shots you, absolutely ever single attack will lead you to game over screen. If you have time, relax and think about the beauty and joy of this game when you are playing in that level.
Noah Adams
Lolno. Taro is a mediocre writer and director. I'm here for Yoshida's 10/10 desings.
Jeremiah Bennett
Jesus christ this fucking framerate makes me want to throw up.
Gabriel Morales
That sounds sick, I'll def be playing on that then if it's not a difficulty you have to unlock. Sucks about the 60fps lock on PC, I guess I'll be getting it on PS4 then. I might even buy it twice if it's as good as the first.
Kayden Evans
Just hang on user, once you get to the final boss you can complain about that game, but before everything is a cheese walk
>Collecting all weapons >Making all Accord quests >Surviving to 3 hits in late-game missions >Not using spears because they break balance
Cooper Morris
Just power on though it user.
Xavier Myers
>they said the PC release is locked at 60fps
What? Since when? SE never had had any press release on PC since it's announcement last August.
Mason King
You can play your first run on VH, me and my brothers of the VH church gonna do that, you joining our ranks?
>Only on VH you will enjoy the 100% of the journey >Every Quest will be an unforgetable adventure >Every Boss an experience of dread >Every new cutscene, every new npc barter will be a blessing >Getting your ass wreck will hurt >Wrecking the bosses will be ambrosia >Enjoying every inch of the explorable map will be great knowing that death is lurking behind you
Jack Anderson
Heeey, it's Panty Lady! Hey guys, OP made a panty lady thread! Post those delicious linens.
>post 2B all day >2B Who?
Evan Ramirez
i wouldnt go for VH on the first playthrough
Evan Fisher
FUCK, are things like this the ones who sold me for VH on first run, just imagine yourself fighting your way on VH.
Jason Morris
i want to wear her leotard...
Adam Mitchell
It ruins the flow of melee
Carter Powell
It ruins the flow of brainless melee, if you know what you are doing and when you can atack everything will go smoother.
Blake Bell
You know, looking back, there really isn't much of a graphic upgrade compared to Nier. Literally the only thing that makes the game look good is because of the filtering and the lighting. The textures is very low res and in some instances, character models from Nier and DoD3 look better than the ones here, especially A2, Devola and Popola who have really plastic looking hair.
I wonder just how small the budget for this game reall is.
Ayden Nguyen
As long as the graphics are a OK and the gameplay is a OK+1 I don't care about anything else, its a Taro game, we should be aware of that
Gavin Bailey
it's 60fps and the development time was fairly short
William Peterson
...
Nolan White
Nah, just curious. Of course, when you think about it, Platinum isn't exactly known for their highly detailed character models and environments either.
Joshua Stewart
Yeah, and why do people call it "Near" anyways? Can't they see that it's pronounced "Nier"?
Christian Watson
What pubic hair? Are you retarded user?
Benjamin Davis
After Beepy? I sort of doubt it...
Anthony Carter
no but you must be if you can't see it, get some new glasses
Wyatt Brooks
Calibrate your monitor
Cooper Brown
I would hope that we'd get to return to it and explore the station a few times, before things get dire and we're cut off.
Wyatt Cook
But beepy is still alive, Taro only hates children and woman, robots are ok for him.
Charles Stewart
Here you have this
Kevin Walker
The guy must have had a really shitty family for that to influence his ideas.
Christopher Hall
>end-game rhythm boss >there's a hidden note at the end as the screen fades to black. I didn't enjoy Drakengard 3's story enough to keep putting up with that shit.
Cameron Phillips
Obtuse final bosses and multiple endings are a Drakengard thing Cool bosses and multiple views of the same ending is a Nier thing We both know what we will encounter in Automata
Ryan Garcia
Both?
Joseph Reyes
Neat. Hope I can gossip with the whole stoic robo-crew after important missions.
Zachary Johnson
we know it has more than one ending and taro said there might be a rhythm game part
Owen Carter
Cool bosses with multiple endings would be awesome
>An ending where only Pascal and humanity survive at the expense of others sacrifices, the good ending >An ending where 2B loses his shit and mass murders the entire moon base and later all humans in moon. >The bad ending, where everybody betrays you >True ending, it fucking breaks your heart
Jack Scott
I i think more than anything in this game, im most excited to find out what these faggots are and what their connection to Drakengard's universe is
Levi Lee
Well, they are some """important""" Npcs.
"Yoko: If I remember right, Operator 6O is the one on the bottom right of this image.
Saito: It’s a rule for these androids to not express emotion, but Operator 6O is a relatively emotional character.
Isobe: I thought I had many lines that sounded pretty human in terms of emotion.
Taura: The section of the game that I worked on included a lot of her lines (Operator 6O), so from the beginning of the day as I worked and listened to those lines, I thought, “Alright! I can do this!”"
I'm cool with branching endings, as long as they have some coherency to how they occur.
The first Drakengard had some prerequisites that at east tried to make the different endings make sense, e.g. following Inuart results in one ending, while going after Manah results in another.
But Drakengard 3's alternate routes lost me with all the time-line shenanigans rewriting everything without any explanation behind new variables and events.
