I think it depends on the particular monster, for example I wouldn't consider somebody whose digiwaifu is Angewomon to be a furry.

It's good. Good story and characters, good weebfeel due to the Tokyo setting, grinding your digimon up and down to learn different moves and shit is pretty fun (once you've got the exp boost items) and the turn-based party combat is enjoyable even if the balance is kind of fucked (most of the game is pretty easy and you can use whatever digimon you want, but there are a few fights that make certain overpowered skills basically mandatory).
