this game was maybe the best case study in history of a story/theming/music/aesthetic combo that was so appealing and cool that i totally ignored how boring actually playing the game was.

Thatks to Dunkey's video everyone screams out how Lisa is supposed to be better than Undertale which is stupid

It only became pretentious after Austen became a sjw cuck. Before that Sup Forums said nothing but good things about it and even inspired me to play it. Nothing about it screams pretentious if you actually play it; you're just parroting some stupid meme and you should go off yourself immediately kthx.

one of the few times I actually cared about characters. pretty solid world building and writing imo. everyone felt like real people. the gameplay was serviceable, I guess it helps I really liked earthbound so the combat really didn't bother me. it has a decent feel of exploration though, especially in the first part

It's amazing how I cared more about a cast of side characters who all have a handful of dialogue (if any) each. Guess it had something to do with the fact that there were so many to choose from that each one that my party felt a much more personal choice.
