Because there is no political narrative that supports certain groups in their games (westerns)
Because there are no qt waifus that people will meme to death (japs)

Metro 2033 and STALKER are quite overrated though

will this have a singleplayer mode or is it just PVP?
Is this a coincidence that none of these games came out after 2010?
Russians make hard games. Most gamers don't like that.
Also because Russians fucking love hacking shit. I lost a lot of hope for the new not-STALKER Escape from Trotsky game when I realized they're trying to turn it into a quasi-MMO; it's going to end up being a fucking cesspool of hax and sploits.
Good post
Most of the time there are difficulty levels, give me an example of some exceptionally hard games

Western games have "SJW bullshit" because SJWs are the only ones who care about video games.
Anti-SJWs think video games are tools of Satan to teach kids evolution. They prefer more wholesome activities, like NASCAR and fucking their sister.

Basically this, you don't want to hear about Russian adventure games. Also there's something about Russians and their inability to make FPS because pretty much all non-shit shooters are Ukrainian.
Because Russian is doing shit.
Even on picrelated most of it unplayable shit.
Also, Im from Russia.
Pretty sure it has a singleplayer/co-op story mode. No idea how extensive that'll be though.

Kreed was okay for what it was, truthfully. I remember pirating and playing it back when mininova was a torrent site. It's just your dime-a-dozen FPS, but it was fun.
Only the most obscure of these games, you can get most of the good shit in English.
At quick glance and from memory, Star Wolves, Kreed, Vangers, Silent Storm, Corsairs, Space Rangers, Etherlords, Cossacks, VENOM, You Are Empty, Pathologic, HoMM V, Disc3, Blitzkrieg 1/2 and STALKER are all in English or have been released as such. I might be incorrect on one or two, but for the most part.

The russian game market isnt yet set up to making forced profitable games that just repeat what was successful before. russian games are often clunky, full of bugs and have huge translation problems. its sometimes even worse if you play the "translation of the translation":

Is this Boiling Point?
Not that guy, but yea it is Boiling Point.
Here is some of my screenshots
Keep in mind that not all of these games are actually good and you would need to have a nostalgic emotional connection to enjoy many of those these days. There's a score count near almost every single game in that image as well, it should work as a decent quality indicator.
And this is it, hope I was informative with my translation.
>The russian game market isnt yet set up to making forced profitable games that just repeat what was successful before
No, it's the exact opposite. There's a reason why there's 1 (one) game made recently in this whole list.
...
This list also should include 7.62, which is really similar to Marauder
...
Spetsnaz the video game.
...
...
And also this pretty much russian jrpg.
Personally, i would seriously recommend Vangers and A.I.M, they are pretty unique and have really brilliant lore(doesn't those two both share same universe with Perimetr?)
I disagree with the quests for Boiling Point.
They may get a bit repetitive, but I wouldn't call them boring.
Besides, a lot of games have repetition anyways.
Mods or vanilla? Pretty intrested
