Does it have the DLC included? If not there's no reason I would switch from my pirated version with all DLC included.
Leo Kelly
shit, I forgot to mention that. No, it's just the standard edition.
Gabriel Ortiz
I still don't want it, even if it's free.
Samuel Reyes
>I wouldn't recommend anyone spend money on this game
Why ? It's the best ME game
David Diaz
thanks. downloading it right now.
Michael White
You are missing half the game with only the standard edition.
Elijah Lee
>ME2 is free >not the $60+ worth of DLC though
thanks, bioware, i'll be sure to continue Cmdr. Shepard's adventure!
Jeremiah Kelly
NOT WORTH IT THEN!
Caleb Bennett
You know how much DLCs are missing? Id say 1/3 of the game is missing as it is.
Robert Hill
mfw you can get a second copy
Oliver Brown
>Mass Effect >wouldn't recommend anyone spend money on this game
Sebastian Gutierrez
>implying I have any desire to play any me game after playing 3
Series died to me a long time ago
James Rogers
I agree with you. As I wrote in the OP, this is just for people who can't be bothered to pirate the game and for those who never had the chance to play it.
William Walker
>Bioware points
Daniel Phillips
It's not that the games are complete trash, I only wrote that because I don't think you should give your money to EA.
But, that's just like, my opinion, man
Carson Gomez
I'm with you. Even then, ME3 did some cool stuff with weapon customization. If you go in knowing that your choices don't really matter, then it's a better experience.
I still don't want to replay the series though.
Thomas Clark
But you have to install Origin to play it.
> but we promise we'll never try to uninstall or otherwise cripple Steam or GoG again!
Fuck your promises.
Caleb Cruz
Well, it's just the standard edition.
Maybe some anons will try this out and get interested in pirating the game with all of the DLC.
Anthony Cruz
kek, nice
I didn't realize that this was something that happened.
Ian Ross
Anything it did cool is nullified by the terrible pacing
Cameron Rodriguez
It's cool. I understand, my dude!
Austin Wilson
Considering the jew prices of the DLC, I'm not surprised.
That and it's EA.
Chase Cook
Why are the DLCs so important? Can't I just get this and enjoy it?
Hudson Mitchell
I'm not too sure about the pacing, I only played it on release so I don't remember it very well.
I think my primary problems with the game were the garbage sidequests (or lack of), and overall shit writing.
Did you like the multiplayer?
Jackson Perry
Well, you would definitely be missing out on some decent content with the DLCs.
Do you absolutely need them to enjoy the game? No.
overlord is quite good dlc for bioware standards and arrival is epilogue cut and sold out as dlc.
Charles Ross
...
Blake Phillips
ME2 has some pretty good DLCs but it's like any other game.
A lot of these free game giveaways have gotten wise to this tactic. They hope you enjoy the game and shell out for the DLC.
It worked for me with Tropico 4.
John Morales
thanks
Dylan Carter

Elijah Lewis
> this is just for people who can't be bothered to pirate the game and for those who never had the chance to play it. But reading this they will still want the pirated version..., even moreso now that they know that the clitting DLC costs more than the free game every cost.
Ryan Morgan
>EXPAND YOU ORIGIN LIBRARY BY 20% TODAY... FOR FREE!!!
Aiden Brown
>giving money to EA
David Parker
Maybe they just don't feel like pirating or aren't tech savvy enough to even try it.
You would be surprised at how many people just don't know how to do this kind of shit.
I think the best option is to just pirate it with all the DLC, but it's not the best option for everyone.
Kayden Cooper
someone should post some torrent file for the trilogy with everything in these threads.
That would be a service to society, and a raised middlefinger towards EA, so two services to society.
Parker Kelly
>You would be surprised at how many people just don't know how to do this kind of shit. No, I really would not.
Christian Morgan
Fair enough. Next time I post about a deal, maybe I'll include links for a torrent.
Lincoln Smith
can i download this from origin and hack the DLC into the game?
Connor Myers
Having worked in technical support/IT for many years, I'm with you.
Mason Bell
Why is this thread so civil? Usually ME threads go crazy.
Ayden Long
or you can just download it for free straight from EA.
Ayden Ross
that's because this isn't a mass effect thread, it's a free* shit thread.
Jackson Cox
Not sure, I didn't expect for it to be civil. It's a welcome change.
Maybe the arguments are already well known and people just don't have the energy to complain as much. Who knows
Lucas Morgan
Why the fuck would you start with the second game?
Carter Hill
They gave away Mass Effect too.
Tyler Anderson
OP here, I have to get back to work, but this was a pretty civil thread and I enjoyed it.
I'll keep an eye out for more deals/free shit and post again if I see something.
I hope you enjoy your Friday night, motherfuckers.
Christopher Fisher
The first one was free for a while and the second one is fun on it's own. The story in 2 is spelled out for fags who don't know what's going on
Anthony Walker
because he's a pleb that doesn't understamd how ME1 was both mechanically superior and had a better story.
all ME2 needed to be good mechanically was to not have the retarded global cooldown and to have kept the heat system of the original, but let you use the consumable thermal clips when overheating to instantly cool off your gun, but still give you the option of not doing that and letting it cooldown on its own.
Ryder Anderson
Mass Effect is massively superior to Mass Effect 2. The original was a creative and innovative fusion of Action/Roleplaying elements in its own distinct answer to Oblivion's own style. It offers many quests, fun characters, actually good dialogue, and great opportunities for creativity in combat.
Mass Effect 2 is a casualized version with less interesting story, less quests, less creativity in combat. It's garbage for Giant Bomb journalists to gush about.
Benjamin Cooper
Obviously 1 is better, you fucking faggot. I never wrote that 2 was better in any regard, don't turn this into a Mass Effect thread. It's a deals thread, retard.
Luke Rivera
I would do so myself, but the torrent I used got deleted years ago, and I would not want to post some unreliable shit full of malware.
Aiden Robinson
>me1 >mechanically superior in concept? sure. in execution? hell no.
David Russell
>If you haven't played ME1, that's fine. You don't really need to. if you're going to play mass effect then you absolutely do need to play the first game, not necessarily before 2/3, but you still need to play it for the fact that you're missing out if you only play the others.
Jace Walker
mind explaining why you think that?
Jayden Murphy
>Origin >Mass Effect You couldn't pay me to install this shit.
Jacob Clark
oh yeah? what's your paypal, faggot?
Nolan Nguyen
The gameplay is shit. The combat is extremely clunky, classes don't feel unique. Weapons are all copy pasted bullshit. Same goes for armor, and all loot in general in the game.
Elijah Thomas
>Origin
Not even once.
Adam Reyes
It's only free because Frog Fractions 2 lets you import a mass effect 2 save.
Colton Cook
>combat is clunky it's no more clunky than ME2 or 3 >classes don't feel unique they were fairly unique, but I can understand why you think they weren't. the long cooldowns on your abilities kept you using your guns more often than not. >armor/weapons/loot were copy paste that's pretty standard for an RPG. however, I'd rather have customizability that let me male my own unique weapons amd armor out of the base models and modifications for them that the game gives me than be stuck with the only good armor set and the 3 shitty guns that run out of ammo way too quickly that 2/3 had.
Tyler Ortiz
Yeah keep giving away free garbage Origin and uplay, won't make me install your malicious spyware. You can tell this is pure desperation to get people to use their garbage.
Jeremiah Wood
>ME2 without ME1
What's even the point?
Nathaniel Rodriguez
Isn't this just for downloading it, not actually unlocking and accessing it?
Evan Garcia
>Origin
Ryan Garcia
So the DLC is actually free, it doesn't try to install Origin onto your shit just for applying it?
Well fuck, maybe I'll play ME2 again just for Lair of the Shadow Borker and Gorrot's thief daughteru. the only DLC i had was what was packaged in by default in the Steam version.
Noah Lopez
Just treat ME3 as just another linear corridor shooter (which it is).
Landon Young
i will never forget the day one user posted a bunch of bundle keys
everybody hoarded the steam ones, but nobody touched the origin ones
i installed origin, and put the keys one by one that day, i built my origin library (6 games) thanks to one user
Tyler Stewart
>sheperd takes down an unliscensed hologram of himself from a store in the slums >proceeds to give the same shitty endorsement quote to every other store for a discount >doesn't realize he's not the real sheperd, but an illegal clone.
