Disk drive starts making loud-ass chainsaw noises

>disk drive starts making loud-ass chainsaw noises

Only on PlayStation hahah!

Once when I was a kid in 1998 or something this happened and the disk was literally fucking crushed to pieces inside the drive. I have no idea what happened.

>PC makes sounds like a car engine starting whenever I boot it up
>too lazy to get new case fans or a better CPU cooler

>playing a game randomly shuts down your PC

>PC starts up quietly and quickly

>turn on dreamcast
>*REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

>Consoles
>One straight up doesn't work
>The other destroys the disc
Beyond me why people still let themselves get fucked over by Sony and Microsoft

>playing DOOM for 3 hours straight
>take off headphones
>fans roaring at 100% speed

Fuck

>buying physical copies

>PC is making whirring sounds
>hd is clicking
>get notification that hard drive is damaged and at risk of corruption
>ignore it
>the next day the notification stops
>the day after that the hd clicking stops too
lol?

I lost my fourth disk of the legend of dragoon to my ps
It was playing, it turned on a jet engine and then the engine blew up
Opened the ps lid and found bits of the cd and that middle part of the ps with the little bearings, where you placed your cd had blown up too

i know this feel

pop the side and put your desk fan on it and ride this rig into the dirt

It was a actual bug user probably a spider

>tfw open my PC to check for spiders but don't dust it because I am too scared of breaking it

>console falls over with disk running inside

Nigga you got to dust that bitch once in awhile!

...

>friend built me a PC with top of the line AMD+nvidia video cards
>runs like shit

so this is....P..C...gaming

How spooky!

>AMD+nvidia

No no no no no no no no no no

>mouse starts double clicking

>stop by a friends house
>he has two ps4s stacked on top of each other
>the ps octuple is trying to break the sound barrier as he plays FIFA
>his room is a million fucking degrees
Normies don't make sense

>Playing a game causes computer to BSOD within 15 minutes of playing it

>disk drive starts making loud-ass chainsaw noises
Is this the Dreamcast thread?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

>Computer keeps making the USB device connected jingle and I keep randomly losing my mouse and/or keyboard for split seconds mid-game

>Pc freezes in the middle of playing
>motherboard is kill

GIT YE GONE

>HD from 2007 makes clicking sounds indicating it's about to die
>but still hasn't died
>a HD I bought in 2013 died after 1.5 years

>open up pc
>find dried mouse on toP of the gpu

>Computer turns its self on and off. Forever.
>constantly power cycles, on for 3 secs then shuts off, repeats.
>sometimes makes it past POST

Help me ;_;

>Play Path of Exile HC
>suddenly pc freezes and makes a looping sound
>hard boot it
>everything's fine except I died in the game

>CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK

>open notepad
>cpu fan is spinning fast enough to go back in time
>hard drive fan is making sounds like a lawnmower symphony
>mysterious "driving down a gravel road" noise starts coming from somewhere
>strange leds are flashing like my computer has entered defcon 1
>room heats up 10 degrees

>Hard disks whirs
>BEEP BEEP
>BEEP
>BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
>BEEP

>its always Microsoft telemetry bullshit you can't turn off

>consolefag complains about his console breaking down while my superior gaming PC has already started up in less than a milisecond

What are you loading you shit.
Mic volume randomly mutes itself

Was a RAM issue for me in the past, maybe its loose or just dead

It might be updating to Windows 10

Haha I remember my friend who had a release day Dreamcast that did something similar. It was annoying as fuck and he had to turn his Dreamcast upside down so the noise wasn't so bad. It would literally make his dog go apeshit and start howling.

Eventually the bearings totally shit the bed and it destroyed his Skies of Arcadia disc. Literally one week later Sega announced they were going to bow out of the console market and he threw that broken Dreamcast out in the street from his apartment window.

Probably one of the funniest things I have witnessed.

>mysterious "driving down a gravel road" noise starts coming from somewhere

>Using stock heatsink from intel 3550
>Intermittently makes horrible screeching sound when computer turns on until hard powering down

This shit is getting weird it only happens sometimes and only when I turn my computer on at ~6 in the morning.

I should probably buy a new heat sink but I'd like to know why it happens before I unscrew my whole motherboard you know?

The chinese are using my computer as a bitminer arent they

>play game on Ultra settings for like 5 hours
>fuck man why is it hotter than normal?
>Suddenly crash to desktop
>Fans whurrring loud as fuck
>check back touch back of PC
>its blazing hot like a fucking stove

FUCKING TEXAS

Nae, buh look:

they both teh sehm saez

Holy fuck its working.

I could litreally suck your cock and let you fuck me user. Thank you.

I had a cupboard that made these tiny scratching noises inside and a few months later there was a small hole on the outside. I stuck a cottonswab and it looked like the wood was chewed inside to almost sandy bits. Does anyone know what could have caused it?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

>he thinks his state is bad.
Try living where ambient temp can reach 60°C EZ during summer.

put ur fr*ckin weener in it dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turn what off? I'm talking about a wooden cupboard.

Replace the cupboard's graphics card

>PC usually runs relatively silently
>every once in a while when playing vidya the GPU fans revs up like a motherfucker for half a second before quieting down again

I'm going to die

yeah, but did you try it?

Ffs if you're saying wrong board then just say so jeez.

THIS
FUCK THIS

>stiff wind moves the console a bit
>HDD corrupts and disk inside is absolutely destroyed
Why did I fall for the meme?

can yu fix it?

>chainsaw starts making loud-ass disk drive noises

how do i clean the cache on my saw?

>Mouse stops double clicking momentarily
>Comes back by clicking 5-6 times on single click

Literally nowhere on the planet unless you're camped out right next to some magma
Death valley pushes the mid 130s
Where do you live you lying sack of shit

OK I may have exaggerated a bit, its around 45 to 50 °C
Coolest it ever got here was 13 °C in winter

>not having contact cleaner around

Yeah didn't fucking think so
Also
Get ac you poor faggot
I get those temps too and play cool year long

It was only last winter that we installed a split system AC in the room, about fucking time.

Ha. I actually did that for around a year before my PC died, good times.

It was a i7 920 overclocked to an unhealthy 5ghz

Was rendering something when my PC fucking died on me.

Ave you tried turning it off and then on?

A hornet/wasp was inside
