Wavemasters were so broken. Besides the REAL reason why they made her unavailable. Wiseman comes into the party. They didn't want 2 Wavemasters available for the same party. They're too strong, and you don't actually get to use two until the end of the final game. By that point you have Helba and you can kill ANYTHING the game has super quickly with her and another WM.
