Did you know that Nintendo didn't make the best Zelda game?
Did you know that Nintendo didn't make the best Zelda game?
Other than spirit tracks and twilight princess. This is one of the worst zeldas.
Right, it was Koei Tecmo.
Windwaker > Minish Cap > Four Swords > Tri-force Heroes > Spirit Tracks = Phantom Hourglass
>all the worst games star Toon Link
>Spirit Tracks
>Bad
Pick one.
Go back to your ALTTP remakes.
>Tri-force Casual Heroes better than Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass
Minish Cap is very underwhelming. Easily one of the worst 2D Zelda's
That's literally the only Zelda game I just stopped playing half way through. I couldn't get into it at all.
I've often wondered if I should give it another shot though.
I actually really liked Phantom Hourglass, even with that shitty dungeon that you have to keep going back to.
This.
It's weird really.
I really liked it. Something about it was super fucking comfy. I've been thinking a lot about finding my old copy & replaying it.
>Phantom Hourglass
>Bad
End this meme.
Shit taste
Its not bad but it's not that good either
Seeing this just makes me want to play Ages/Seasons again, those are easily my favorite Zelda games.
>the legend of zelda: collectathon edition
no
PH *was* bad, though? Did you even play it?
>Shitty short dungeons
>Repetitive, boring central dungeon that you need to repeat
>Bullshit 4th-wall-breaking puzzles
>Completely retarded story
>Still has sailing, but it's worse since you now can't even directly control the ship
>Grinding for ship upgrades
>touchscreen controls
>ONLY touchscreen controls
>Roll, spin attack, walk in a circle and swing your sword are all the same input (aka TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLS)
PH was an abomination, even though the multiplayer was notable for being the most frustrating gaming experience of all time. Thank God they switched back to less-shitty rehashes and re-releases for the 3DS zeldas
Yes, Oracle of Ages is the best one.
My nigga, finally someone gets it
>Shitty short dungeons
A little short but the puzzles were creative. I wouldn't call it shitty
>Repetitive, boring central dungeon that you need to repeat
Easily the most misunderstood thing about the game. You go through the levels faster as you get more items and you even get the ability to skip levels later on in the game.
>Bullshit 4th-wall-breaking puzzles
They weren't that bad user.
>Completely retarded story
Great characters and a meh plot is still pretty good by vidya standards
>Still has sailing, but it's worse since you now can't even directly control the ship
Except you have more control over the ship then you did in Wind walker?
>Grinding for ship upgrades
Not necessary
>touchscreen controls
>ONLY touchscreen controls
Agree
>Best Zelda game
>Was made by Con man
Whatever, good games could fuck Sup Forums in the mouth and they wouldn't even notice.
Agreed. PH was a good game.
Linebeck was a great character and I actually remember having a fucking blast on the multiplayer back in the day.
I didn't even mind the touchscreen controls desu.
>Great characters
I can agree with that, at least. Linebeck was pretty cool. As for the puzzles, maybe they weren't all that bad (minus the "press the map..." one which was absolute BS), but I hate 4th wall breaking in general in adventure games.
>the villain is a lovecraftian horror who sucks out people's souls in an endless hunger
He was still pretty kiddy but for an 9 year old that was some scary shit.
tfw everyone hates on my favorite Zelda game (Twilight Princess)
I had a lot of fun with this and PH. I couldn't get into Spirit Tracks though.
>Released in 2009
>9 year old
>Being 16
Looks like you are not old enough for Sup Forums, son
>2009
It was released in 2007
Nintendo did make the best Zelda game though.
>vaati is never ever coming back
First video game boss that I sweated blood on, fuck i wish i could go back and fight all of those weird forms again
they also didnt make the best f zero game
>First video game boss that I sweated blood on
Vaati is easy as fuck though. He's probably the easiest final boss of any Zelda game.
My nigger
don't worry user.. i also found vaati tough as hell
His first form is pretty hard. After that he gets a lot easier
At least most people like the porn from it
>His first form is pretty hard.
It really isn't. I easily beat Minish Cap without dying, and I didn't even go out of my way to pick up extra pieces of heart or anything.
>vaati is never ever coming back
I wonder if a Zelda game outsourced to a non-Nintendo company could ever get away with introducing a major new character like this today, now that Aonuma has made this series the dumping ground for his fanfiction. No, Hyrule Warriors's non-canon OCs don't count.
Same with Ezlo supposedly being the inspiration for why every Link wears his hat in this game. Aonuma was happy to retcon that away.
it wasnt easy when i was a dumb kid
well, minish cap only gave us his picori and human form
didn't Nintendo create the eyeball form?
Those are made by Capcom too :)
Shit, I forgot Vaati was in other games before MC.
Come to think of it Minish Cap was really a genuine achievement in fleshing out the character of what had been a one-note villain up until that point.
it was pretty nice
I wish there was more about him other than the games and the manga but he didn't even make it into hyrule warriors
