Heck, if Nintendo had even hit just like 20% of these things in their presentation, the system might actually have been relevant.
Nintendo Switch presentation fixed
>Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey on launch
would that even be possible without making the games less than impressive
How the fuck do you want them to have expandable SSD memory, 1080p capable tech, and a better battery life in that form factor for $250. Whoever made this is a fucking moron that is so out of touch with reality it is comical.
>all that shit at the top
>priced at $249
No. That image is completely unrealistic.
Maybe the online service is like that. Hopefully they go back to what PS+ was.
>3 free virtual console games each month
if they did that they'd run out of games to give you within a couple years.
The whole list is just an absurd pipedream that has no grounded realism about it at all.
They could simply have pushed the system back to the holiday season.
Then there would be plenty of great launch exclusives
this would have been achievable without the gimmicks
.
In other words if it wasn't Nintendo
You should always dream big but keep your expectations low.
This is just an extreme dream scenario. But like I said, if even just a fraction of this stuff was official, the console would have a much better chance
Don't forget a disk drive, a Wii U, and a Wii all stuffed into it as well.
Silly me. I'll throw in Half-Life 3, Portal 3, Team Fortess 3 and Left 3 Dead as well
>Someone actually expect that list of games
but a fraction of that stuff IS official, and you're implying it isn't. What would actually be the minimum here?
Why the fuck would Nintendo get the Spyro the Dragon remasters? That doesn't make any goddamn sense.
>one of the points is achievement whore shit
Got to inject that cancer everywhere now, even in "my ideal system" lists.
I don't see why it would be so hard to make the memory expandable. Even if it's only on the docking station.
Regardless, 32GB is abysmall. It's not 2005 anymore
IT LITERALLY SAYS FAKE ON IT user.
how is it logical to have all their big games available at the same time so they cannibalize each other? it's better to stagger releases
you can't have the perfect console user and it will certainly be less than perfect with your shitty ideas
And yet. So many people seem to not see that
just get a 1 terabyte SD card
it's not even an extreme dream scenario because it's incredibly flawed from nintendo's perspective and the consumer
Nintendo's ideology is that if you give people too big of a selection of games, they're going to be able to pick and choose what they want.
That's the last thing Nintendo wants. Nintendo wants to trickle out bite sized content very slowly such that anyone they con into buying their hardware is forced to buy it because it's literally the only thing coming out that month
Just look at their VC. They have a huge back catalog of 1000s of games and they release 1-2 a week. No one would ever buy garbage like Balloon Fight if they could buy the games they actually want
Greed is always the thing that kills companies, sadly. Short-sighted shareholders want a big, Wii-scale comeback without having to earn back players' trust. The result will be mediocre sales and Nintendo ceasing hardware development in a few years.
Fuck you! Balloon Fight is great!
Balloon Fight isn't garbage you fucking faggot
wtf i love nintendo now
The minimum for me personally would be that the console had AT LEAST 2-3 launch games of relevance (Zelda is not even exclusive)
After that, they should have a steady schedule of releases. As things are now, the console will be as barren a wasteland as the WiiU has been for the last year.
When they finally reach the holiday peroid, the console will have lost interest and 3rd party will likely not be interested if the console hasn't caught any popularity.
Why would anyone with a PS4/Xbone even consider getting a Switch during it's first year?
Had they waited till christmas.
They could have launched the system with BOTH Mario and Zelda, plus more and then have the christmas perioid highly boost their sales and create more hype, creating an instant user intall base, and mak 3rd party developers more interested for the next year.
The whole paid subscription is also pure shit and frankly embarrasing.
The fact that they only offer you 30 old Rom files that they are gonna take away from you after the month is over like it's some precious thing nobody can have is so childish.
I could go on with the problems I have with the marketing of this system
Many of the games for it looks impressive tho, which is what I love about Nintendo. As long as they don't Nintendo everything up again
>doom
>red dead redemption
I'll get back to you on that in 5 years
>How to fix the Switch
>Change absolutely everything about it
Bravo OP. How many console failures does Nintendo need to go through before they quit fucking up? The Wii gave them false assurance
Might as well add "If you buy the Nintendo Switch at launch, Nintendo will fly a high class Japanese escort to your home to blow and rim you."
Sadly, it feels like the marketing is Nintendo's biggest problem.
While I love most of thier IPs.. we also have the 2 newest Paper Marios that nobody asked for..
Both the Wii and WiiU were just Nintendo machines, cause there was nothing else of releance to get for them.
Will h be dressed up as princess peach too?
Otherwise, NO DEAL!
>P5
>SWITCH
lol k
This picture is retarded.
Just like the original
But the marketing for the Switch is 100x better than the Wii U's marketing.
> Monster Hunter Frontier 5
> Frontier
That we can agree on.
Nintendo really just rolled over and pissed themself on the initial presentation on that thing..
Generally they have also been really terrible at naming stuff lately.
The original Switch teaser actually had me pretty hyped. But the presentation they had severely dimmed that down.
Well.. at least Nintendo finally joined the rest of the companies in this century and made the Switch region free *Slow Clap*
>*Slow Clap*
kill yourself softly
They've said that the development for Odyssey is pretty much finished. They just need a title for the holday season, so they pushed it back.
They were wanting to show it off, but since it doesnt come out till the holiday season, they weren't allowed to.
>Pokemon Stars
>WarioWare Switched
>Smash Melee Remastered
>Megaman Legends 3
>Zelda Maker
>RDR2
>Pokemon Snap 2
>Paper Mario TTYD 2
>Spyro Remastered
>New 3D Metroid
>Star Fox Universe
>Dead Space 4
>Pikmin 4
Well now i'm depressed that these aren't real
>that many launch tittles
Fucking stupid. Don't want to blow your whole load right away.
It undermines and buries games than gives you a drought with no attention. People will just stop going nuts.over Botw right when odyssey launches etc.
That might be true. But considering how little fans cared about the WiiU cause it had "no games" I think Nintendo should start out big with some killer apps at launch. Hence push the system to October'ish when more games will be ready.
The launch numbers will be very important to get a solid userbase and catch interest of 3rd parties
Most consoles make money on Software and loose money on Hardware, this is Nintendos "don't loose money on anything" tactics that tells you it's unrealistic.
The picture is of cause a an exaguration. But it would hurt to have more launch titles that would appeal to more users.
If you are not a Zelda fan.. Or if you already own a Wii to play it one, then why in the world would you get the Switch?
Mario Kart 8 is also just a beefed up version of a game you already most likely own, and Splatoon to me just looks like more of the same.
This is laughably embarrassing. Who actually spends their time making these fake graphs?
When I read thie OP it made me realize what true autism is.
>no HD version of Metroid 2
lolololololololololololololololololololololololol beyond good and evil 2
Bored people like me with just a little bit more freetime than the rest on here.
