This, though some pieces of cloth armor seems to be actually trying to fix the issue. There's some cloth pants/robes that come with cool 3d scrolls on the side, but it's not enough imo, not when Anduin is rocking his cool new robes

They even had modeled chest pieces on the ToV plate sets so there is definitely hope.
