Possibly the best PvE MMO available right now, bu PvP is fucked. Extra points for devs listening to the community which is usually unheard of.
What's the deal with crowns and plus membership?
Combat feels worse than skyrim if you can believe it.
Crowns are just used for certain cosmetic items and some random shit. ESO Plus gives you 10% exp, some crowns once a month and access to all the DLC expansions.
6 months of plus gives you what the DLC would cost, plus 9000 crowns which would cost another 70 bucks.
I'd say watch for when Plus has a sale and buy 6 months of it then.
Good single player MMO as long as you don't care about quality raiding or quality PvP or quality combat. I enjoyed the questing and stories.
MMO's are shit.
What else is there to say?
What is up with Western games and shit combat?
This man speak the truth. Ever wanted to box on with a Daedric god? Do the main story.
It's shit, the higher level you are the weaker your character becomes due to level scaling.
Fun for the first week or two, then becomes tedious and boring. I got to champion level 127 before I quit playing, and that's nowhere near max level
Play literally anything else.
This.
Game has been ruined since the one tamriel update and theres no point in playing it anymore
Monster hunter online is ok
What's wrong with combat?
it's actually good, they just chose shitty engine and copied Rimjob left and right
Not that guy, but combat is extremely basic MMO combat. Like drop AOEs, 1>2>3>4 etc.
not really, you have active doging an blocking
and you're combining mouse autoattack with skills
Skyrim has basic as fuck combat but I really enjoyed that game.
you'll be right at home dovahkin
I tried it, I really did but I found the combat clunky and badly animated and the quests were a complete bore with terrible voice acting.
At least it made me start playing GW2 again.
Maybe for tanks. I'm mostly speaking in terms of DPS in dungeons, since that's really all anyone wants to play.
you're supposed to weave attacks between skills as dps but yeah, it's dial up combat
not that guy but DPS doesn't have a rotation like that.
First off, skills with cooldowns are rare and they're dependant on what resources you have left.
That means a DPS only has one skill that he spams for AoE and one skill to use for DPS on single targets.
The rest of your skills should be dedicated to either mobility or preperation, eg. debuffs, buffs.
That's why there's no 1 -> 2 -> 3 etc rotations. It's just spamming one button until your resource is empty.
you wont do any kind of decent dps without a full bar of dps oriented abilities and a rotation
and I meant two full bars
I haven't actually played the game but from watching guides I do see people using way more than one spell. Most of them seem to constantly swap weapons/bars and use abilities from both.
