it's a videogame
the zombies when you shoot their dicks, and get stronger when you hit their heads
It didn't take itself seriously.
>tfw it had dynamic difficulty and you never noticed
Nostalgia.
Gameplay, story, atmosphere, tension, great battle system, Ashley's panties
melee followups and good feeling guns.
except when you play on professional.
I love how much of a mess this game is, it's like 10 different games in one.
There's gameplay sections scattered throughout that haven't shown up before, and never show up again afterwards. You never know what its going to throw at you next.
Like there's that section where you're separated from Ashley and a giant death machine bursts through the wall and you have to shoot the guys on it. It's not particularly challenging, you get forever to shoot them, and logically it makes no sense. The time it probably took to make that far outweighs the gameplay you get out of it, but it stops the game from becoming too repetitive. No modern game would have something like that.
They made one for the Wii.
The whole universe is awesome and rich, even if the story belongs to a Steven Seagal movie
but they created a very dark, creepy and fascinating universe, that's why I liked
Plus the good gameplay, the awesome replay value made the game stand out
easily one of the best game of all time
hahahahah
thank you
I don't know but I have the original GameCube version, the one for Wii and PS4.
I also have it on my iphone
Why couldn't Capcom make another RE after RE4?
Gameplay primarily. It kind of showed they took their time balancing it. The settings were good too.
Story was interesting untill it deflated at some point towards the end. It was kind of anticlimatic.
THAT GAME IS FUCKING EVERYWHERE
LITERALLY
FUCKING
EVERYWHERE
THERE'S A FUCKING VERSION FOR MY TOASTER
The Quick Time Events Really Made It What It Is. A MASTURD PIECE.
The combat, enemy design and encounter/level design. I think what really makes it so much fun to play is how slow paced it is and how predictable/well telegraphed the enemies. It really does a good job at keeping you in the zone when you play.
Shinji Mikami, Hideki Kamiya and Kenichi Iwao left Capcom.
Additionally, I think Mikami took some of the people, who worked with at Capcom, with him, to Tango gameworks.
RE4 was really weird. Hunnigan breaks the fourth wall 10 minutes into the game.
watch the speed runs of it fucking bootiful
desu I don't think anyone would care much if they cut most of those sections out, hell IMO the game would only be better if it didn't have shit like the truck section. The basic combat is what makes people fall in love with the game, not some one off gimmick sections.
Enemy variety and design was great, bosses and midbosses were all pretty cool.
Bingo
>what make RE4 so good?
Unless you're a junior game designer the answer to that question is pointless.
>watching the slideshow in the credit for the first time
