How do i get good with this piece of shit?

How do i get good with this piece of shit?

>Command
Stack attack speed, then move speed, then damage. Drones will make up for not taking healing items early
>No Command
You'll just die to providence anyway.

By not playing with Sup Forums since they insist on using """""""""fun""""""""""balls AND Glass so that only Huntress and Bandit are viable

>entering a video game advice thread just to show off how bad you are at the video game in question

>Hurr ur bad, it couldn't be because certain combinations of artifacts makes it literally impossible for some characters
Typical rorfag, ignoring aspects of the game that need improvement and dismissing any criticism with "get le good"
Back to dark souls threads with you, autsit

I really like playing with Sup Forums rules, except for the funballs. Absolutely idiotic when paired with glass. Killing bosses as a melee character is terrible with funballs.

Yep. There's nothing wrong with Spite or Glass individually, but combined they're fucking retarded. Makes Hand-E, Acrid, Miner, Mercinary, and Loader non-options. And god help you if you want to play one of them and ask for one of them to be disabled, then you get invalids like calling you a scrub.

Miner, Merc, and Loader are three of the best characters in Sup Forums rooms. Acrid is underused because of shitty netcode, not because Sup Forums settings make him weak. Han-D is challenging but nowhere near impossible.

Spoken like a true Huntress player.

>miner
>good
never ever seen a good miner player

Soooo... Server when ?

oh man I want to see more pictures like this now

RoR images specifically ?

Nah, overly pedantic definitions/descriptions of the title

I want to clear a game before going online, the best I had was getting to providence and then dying against the worms. All the last level was spent rolling for my life, I couldn't kill ANYTHING no matter what. Actually killing stuff got so much harder from the third level onwards.

What should I be doing? Do I just read a guide and do some runs to collect artifacts? What class should I git gud with? I'm pretty gud at not getting killed but my damage is complete fucking garbage.

Also do higher difficoulty also boost my damage or is it just "enemies become sponges that hit HARD"?

I always see one when I play with Sup Forums

>I want to clear a game before going online
Sup Forums rules are noticeably different better than vanilla gameplay so clearing the game in that mode might not be as significant as you think.
>Do I just read a guide and do some runs to collect artifacts?
The command artifact is easily accessible in the hive level and makes the game massively easier. Take a minute to grab it if you see it.
>I'm pretty gud at not getting killed but my damage is complete fucking garbage.
Commando is a pretty bad character in vanilla for exactly that reason. If you want to clear the game in vanilla, Huntress, Acrid, Engineer, Chef, and Bandit are the best characters for it. If you've reached providence you should at least have Bandit unlocked.

Artifacts are useful, but you should complete the game without any, atleast once or twice.
What classes do you have unlocked ? Bandit and Huntress are good starters, anything melee based is more difficult to get gud with.
>I'm pretty gud at not getting killed
Good, that's the most important thing.
>my damage is complete fucking garbage
Are you buying all the items you can ? Did you loop the earlier levels for more items ? For better damage you need items, but that means you have to get lucky and get the good items (unless you have the command artifact)

What is command? and yeah, HAN-D's gameplay gimmick is grouping enemies, stunning them with repeated OCed punches and then landing a hammer and using his healing bots to get lost health back, so fighting Providence is a nightmare.

I didn't loop, I thought that since my character was garbo I would have eventually been overwhelmed. It was a mistake, right?

I do have acrid and bandit, tried bandit but I've always been shit at managing cooldowns in all my life so it felt even weaker than commando, and for acrid I love his trail, but I can't work out that well his other skills. I might try to pickup command but I have no clue on what I should be picking up, since the only guides I find are for glass runs or other variants.

Command replaces all items with a box you interact with to choose any item of the same rarity.

The command artifact, which allows you to select the items you recieve, item drops are no longer random

As far as normal mode goes Huntress and Acrid are both fairly easy to win with, but Providence is a pain with Acrid.

Looping levels is harder than just rushing providence, and if you really need more items the final level has plenty.
>Acrid
Run at enemies while jumping, attack in the air. This is an important trick for all melee characters except han-d, because his attack animation is too slow to really make use of it.
