I've never played a Tales game before and gave the demo a try which I thought was really poor in general.
The characters and their interactions seem to be fun but the combat system essentially boiled down to "Mash buttons!". I am pretty sure you could even beat the boss without looking at the screen.
Am I missing out on something? Was the demo's combat just barely representative or the same as the real thing? I want to like this but not at this rate.
