HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GONNA PLAY SMASH WITH THAT LITTLE ASS CONTROLLER?

> PRO SWITCH CONTROLLER IS 70$
>JOYCON TWINKIES ARE 80$
>JOYCON HOLDER IS 20$

>NO GAMECUBE CONTROLLER SUPPORT
>CAN'T USE YOUR OLD ACCESSORIES

IS this why they didn't announce the port?

All in due time my little autismo friend. The port is gonna have it's own direct, it would've taken half of the Switch's reveal conference just to talk about it.

No. Smash 5 is gonna come out some years down the line.

>>NO GAMECUBE CONTROLLER SUPPORT
Nice source faggot.

better than the 3ds desu

If you're using 1 joy con it's doable.

>Stick to move
>up arrow to jump
>left arrow is B (special)
>down arrow is A (attack)
>L and R for block and grab

>NO GAMECUBE CONTROLLER SUPPORT

Finally the autists can stop with that shit

Same way you play with the Wii mote more or less

The system comes with two joy cons and a holder, there is no problem.
also
>gamecube controller
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GONNA PLAY SMASH WITH THAT LITTLE ASS CONTROLLER?
Same way you play it on the gamepad and 3DS

>no taunts
DROPPED

I wasn't aware that the Switch had a smash bros game.

The controller is a fine size

What really worries is the microscopic D-pad

Be glad that Smash doesn't use a d-pad. It's the only """""fighting""""" game that will be properly playable out of the box

L+R

There, you got a taunt

This meme needs to die
No fighting game is properly playable out of the box on any console

Where can I preorder the switch pro controller? I can't find it anywhere

But... how do you perfect pivot taunt!?

>a taunt
>not three

member that?

Exactly half of the people I play guilty gear with play with a dualshock 4, so I disagree.

It looks really uncomfortable to reach the right stick when your thumb is resting on the face buttons. There's a reason literally every other normal pad, including the Switch Pro controller, has the analog sticks diagonally down from the buttons instead of right below.

Yeah, you want your games to cost $100 each?

Pad isn't anywhere near playable. Fighting games are meant to be played on stick.

I played Brawl competitively with the Wiimote turned sideways. I think I'll be fine.

>A port of a bad game
People want this for what reason exactly?

>not wanting your games to cost $100 each
Would be cool to have at least a few alternate joycon styles
Maybe one to restore it back to symmetrical sticks.

Autism.

Not a D-Pad is a + (Plus).

This will be Smash at EVO 2018

There is nothing that you can do on a stick that you can't do on a pad. A stick requires as much as getting used to as a pad. I'm a stick player and having used a pad for a day, I can say I had no major trouble with it.

>only actual excuse for removing momentum from jumps was because the lowest common controller only had a d pad for movement
>now the lowest common controller has an analog stick
That shit had better come back by the next game.

>the lowest common controller only had a d pad for movement
what

I'm convinced one reason for Smash having such dumbed down movement was so casuals could play with a sideways wii remote decently.

Sakurai confirmed for a fact that L-canceling was removed from Brawl because of sideways wiimotes. Curious to see if they'll make gameplay adjustments in Smash 4 Switch like they did with MK8D.

Unless you wanna play couch competitive with a friend. Then you're no less than $70 invested, possibly up to $100 if you want another pair of JoyCons and grip.

pretty stupid even for a novalty

Eh, says you. I think it has a lot of potential.

How do you play it last gen?
I just told people to bring their own controllers.

GO AWAY SPOOKY!

Taunts are - button, d-pad plus - to change taunt. You niggas never play with a Wiimote before?
Also tap jump can be turned off now because of X and Y.

Just have your friend use their joy cons man I mean what the fuck, are you guys slow or something?

>No gamecube controller support
You do realize the Switch has USB ports, right? You could potentially use the exact same adapter.
