played SoC about 5 times so far in my life and finally giving CoP a try after all this time. Just the complete mod for me though too casual for Misery.

thinking about reinstalling SoC. Only played it vanilla. Recommend some mods?

Avoid Complete if you want an actually good experience. Go for AMK or one of the derivatives, OGSE, or something else. Try the STALKER thread in /vg/ and you'll find a LOT of information on mods.

Currently halfway through playing it with the Complete mod. Why is this mod bad? I'm enjoying myself. Is it just because I don't know what else there is?

Zone of Reclamation fixes bugs while leaving the gameplay alone. As for the head bobbing, you can fix that by entering a console command at any time during play (something like cam_inert 0).
