>the rewards for paid online consist of a temporary one month nes/snes game, by comparison, xbox one offers potentially 1 old game and a indie game or two indies, plus two bc compatible 360 games, and ps4 has two indie games and sometimes a full game, which last the length of your subscription
>paid online when nintendo's main titles are mainly singleplayer, with splatoon 2 basically being the only title to even remotely justify it
>controllers and peripherals are bizarrely overpriced and as expected, stocked with unnecessary gimmicks like advanced rumble

>the console is barely more powerful than a 360/ps3/wii u and yet is more expensive than a ps4/one, which are far more powerful machines

If it wasn't for BotW it would be basically impossible to get excited for it. Many on Sup Forums have a Wii U so there's no reason to get a Switch until Odyssey

Because having a Wii U renders the switch pointless. I'm incredibly pissed with Nintendo since I own a Wii U and the Switch has shown me nothing worth making me buy it until at least 2 years. Why do you people keep deflecting blame to Sony, Microsoft or PC? An informed costumer that had owned or know the Wii U well should be rightfully pissed and I very well am. I used to be a Nintendrone until the Wii came out. I bought the Wii U because it was 3 years in and thought 200 bucks was good enough and took the dive. I played a grand total of 5 games and dropped the console. If there's a wake up call, it's that fucking console and if 1 drone woke up, anyone can. I'm trying my best to not get people dick riding that piece of trash in an attempt to see if Nintendo ever passes the 2009 standards, but at least with my friends I don't even have to try, all of them found the Switch incredibly underwhelming.
