Jesus christ, what makes it so expensive? Honest question is there something special about it? I hated Nintendo a little less when they used to make cool backwards compatibility features on their shit like putting gamecube controller ports on the Wii. And now they do shit like this?

Amiibo reader and HD rumble

The HD rumble might be expensive, and good quality USB Type C cables still are a bit pricey also

Of course that's why

That "HD" rumble shit better be some next level shit to justify all price hiking in the system, and amiibos can get fucked in the most serious way, I don't understand how there's so much appeal for such a pointless feature.

Why are you buying the Nvidia Shield 2?

It's just a few extra rumble motors.

40 HOURS

Nice. To bad we aren't getting Wii U pro gypsy magic levels of battery life. But 40 is great.

>2.5 hours battery in portable

What's even the point?

gyro too, which is practically required for splatoon though you could just use the joycons, it's still a welcome addition in my eyes

At least it will have the Xbox stick layout, that shit makes me diamonds.

it costs a third of the console. console fags are so fucking cucked compared to pc users.

>preorder zelda at amazon.ca
>get 20 percent off with prime
>shitty canadian amazon doesnt ship the game until march 5th, even though it releases on the 3rd
>wont get it til the 7th

truely suffering

the word "Nintendo" printed on it increases prize by 30%

get the hori pad.

>6 hours
>3.5 hours
>3 hours (when asleep, no running charge time)

Why is nintendo so deathly afraid of fast charging?

I was on the fence about dropping the dosh on one of those controllers for too long, but I really liked the Wii U Pro controller and I'm expecting a fat tax return soon anyway so I decided to try and pick one up but now they're sold out on Amazon...

Really a bummer.

Same here. I did like the wii u pro layout though. But yes, xbox layout is superior.

And here I thought $50 for the Wii U Pro Controller I bought was expensive.

this is the power of battery....woah

>entire console is cheaper than a modern intel processor

Don't play the price game. PC only wins when it's a new Next-Gen. This is just the WiiU without the gimmicks. It's terrible.

I'm also happy, seeing as I never properly got the flow of Smash to the best I could adjusting to the "C-Stick" being above the buttons instead of below, like on the GC controller.

Why is this controller STILL not available in the US? Like seriously, wtf

the most important thing is user: Can I use this on my pc, without 3rd party 20€ accessoires.

>tfw i'm not an autist who needs a pro controller to play games

Right?

I have a friend who spergs out on keybinds and won't even let the game teach him the controls.

The first thing he does is rebind everything and then complain when something isn't exactly how he wants it to feel.

He's the same with controllers.

3 hours to 100% charge
30 minutes to 70%
Its a USB C problem that reduces power when nearing 100%

im just goint to wait until nintendo goes bankrupt and sell all their assets cheap, it's just a matter of a few years

Any second now

>Its a USB C problem that reduces power when nearing 100%
I had no idea. That's interesting. Any idea on how that works or where you can learn how that works?

Uh huh.

This graph shows the reduced power consumption when using type C.

This has got to be a safety thing, right?

Yes.

Neat

it says the switch itself wont even come 'till 8-10th and i preordered the second it went up.
