How? You see her a whopping 5 minutes the entire game.

It felt forced. They wanted you to like her and feel bad when she died but she almost never appears in game.

Even though I can see Dead Island for the shitty game it is, I still really enjoyed my first playthrough. It's weird there's just something I like about it even though it's shit.

Dying Light is basically the same type of game but with a cool parkour system and it's overall a more fleshed out experience with less bugs, better UI etc. Co-op is pretty fun aswell.

DL was polished better. the weapons, enemies, maps,and overall leveling is leaps and bounds over DI

When you see start playing it like a bad horror B-movie it gets quite enjoyable I find.

they are all some of my guilty pleasures but DL is much more refined and better balanced than the DI games. honestly if you don't like DI, then chances are you'll think DL is medocre at best. I can understand why, too. just pirate it and then if you end up liking it then buy iy on sale or not, it's not like the game is innovative or unique in any real way.
