Everything about it brought a smile to my face. True Resident Evil is back, baby~
Now all we need is a standalone Mercenaries title.

but otherwise its alright I guess
Played it on PC. We don't really have those issues but I see how it could be troublesome on console. Still though, fucking awesome.
I also played on PC, the points still stand.
controls suck, grafics suck, sound is shit.
Deal with it
also game crashes and runs like shit even tho it doesn't look very good and graphics don't look really demanding or impressive in any way.
>Everything about it brought a smile to my face
No offense, but you must be pretty twisted!
Did you use the mouse or the controller? MKB was much better for me than the controller.
>Game never crashed for me and ran fine
Maybe you should upgrade your toaster
MKB of course
the movements feel way too slow.
Dude moves around like a paraplegic on valium and runs away at the speed of a 400lbs man.
Got no crashes on my end and I haven't even update my gfx drivers in a while. Also got 90fps minimum, maxed.
>lying on the internet
then you would love having real job
>MKB of course
lol at this scrub
>can't even launch the demo
who /shittypc/?
really sucks desu, I played every re game so far
What's to lie about? I can take screenshots or video right now of the game, totally maxed, running at 144fps. ~90fps was my minimum.
you havent really played this game until youve played it in VR
The demo is an unoptimized piece of garbage though, last time I played it. This same machine got 60fps max with medium settings in the demo but the full game runs a hell of a lot better.
runs like garbage on my 970. like bad.
Yeah but the full game also has Denuvo and isn't free :DDDDDDD
>3.5
yeah figured that can be the problem. im just apalled how unplayable resident evil 7 is on my pc.
...
Can anyone confirm how you get the X-Ray glasses? I've seen conflicting reports that it's a 4 hours or less speedurn or under 3 healing items.
what should i upgrade to ? im gonna get a new cpu and gpu, maybe another power supply as well.
So, WHO was the dead kid in the attic? The one that you take the arm off?
>takes 8 hours to complete

>babies first puzzle
>much spook
>muh mind control
>linear as fuck
Ya it's really great make sure you buy the dlc next week for $10 where you have to run from your mom trying to feed you your tendies.
Game is a fucking joke
sounds about right
>takes 8 hours to complete
>2 enemy types, shoot the head vs shoot the obvious big weakpoint
>babies first action game
>much shooting
>muh quips
>linear as fuck
RE4
Desmond was cool imo fuck that guy
there's actually like 5 enemy types, which is about the same as the first 2 in the franchise
if you have an old i5 then get i7 thatll fit with your mobo and upgrade to 1070, might not even need to upgrade power supply, all you need is 600w to power everything efficiently since the 1070 requires less power than the 970
>I have never played an actual RE game in my life
t. CoD babby
>works for me ;)
Fucking murder yourself
Are there actual enemies, or is everything a Nemesis? It's surprisingly hard to find info online.
Theres like 4 nemesis style enemies, and then like a few normal enemies.
yes there's zombers and pests
There's a few types of normal "zombies" which are what you fight the most, by far, that all pretty much look the same (there's a story reason for it). Other than that there's also bees and the Bakers
Is there a good amount of them or overall is the combat very scarce? Super glad to hear there's some enemies at least.
You slowly have to deal with more and more of them as the game goes on.
I'm at a point where they seem to be roaming most places. Much like zombies in REmake.
Which of the three normal pistols you get is better to use? The cop pistol, the one you repair, or the one you find in the boat?
The one you repair is supposedly the strongest but they all do well with the advanced ammo.
At least RE4 was fun. I was bored after the baker house with 7.
Nope, there are 3 types of molded. Baker family and Mia.
Resident Evil 1 had zombies of various speed, dogs, crows, spiders, hunters, sharks, adder, chimera then all the bosses. Oh and it was released in the 90s
???
>I was bored after the baker house with 7.
ADHD
Wow turning RE into a fps was a stupid stupid idea. Now it's a generic shooter
>True Resident Evil is back
Nothing about the game I've seen so far is anything like a true Resident Evil. What in the world are you even talking about?
Looks like every other low first person horror game ever.
>Nothing about the game I've seen so far is anything like a true Resident Evil
But you're gonna go ahead and power through this shitpost anyways right? Because, as somebody who hasn't played the game, you're totally qualified to comment on this?
It doesn't look like RE at a distance, but it absolutely is.
Ammo is very precious and reloading takes years so it's not quite the same, but if you want to see RE as generic FPS, play 4, 5 or 6 where you're literally a gunship and the thousands of zombies are just trivial fodder.
>Everything he is saying is accurate and I can't refute it..... ADHD AUTISM
>why dont you refute his subjective opinion
gee wonder why dear autist shitposter
>shooter with gamepad
retard
Except those are in third person numbnuts
>implying I'm not aiming with my eyes using VR
I don't think I found any pistol that you repair.
Now that I think about it, I beat the game with the toy guns in my deposit box.
The gore is more like a snuff film than Resident Evil, and the sound design seems horrible from what I've witnessed from others playing it. Ethan sounds like he had no direction to go by for most of his lines I've heard.
I think the "true" Resident Evil return will be with the remake of 2, not this game. This one feels like they tried to push too hard with the identity of the series to the point that it reminds me too much of "House of 1000 Corpses", which this game could have been one hell of a tie-in for. Kinda like how Sweet Home was based on the film and evolved into traditional Resident Evil
>has to rely on the KBM crutch
it's not a twitch shooter, fagget
>Game has 3 types of molded
THATS SUBJECTIVE REEEEEE
>KBM
>crutch
retard as I said
Just started playing
>Zombie guy jacks the car you try to use and starts doing donuts
4
you cant even count
You find a broken gun in the trailer outside, then the repair kit for it is right outside the trailer under the house, if you use it on the gun then you get the pistol from the demo.
Where at in the trailer?
I feel retarded. How do you stop him
I dumped all my ammo into him and he just keeps doing donuts
I don't remember the exact spot, the trailer isn't exactly huge but I know its in there. Are you playing on Madhouse difficulty? If so they could have moved the location of it to somewhere else since I'm on Normal and for me it was in there.
>tfw to intelligent for controllers
>Fast
>Normal
>Slow
3 types. Did you even play the game
Drive the car, run his ass over, he takes it from you but it'll work out from there
I just wish they'd used actual zombies. I imagine they did it as, at this level of fidelity, having a zombie be "cloned" at any point would look really strange.
Still, it's my biggest disconnect with the post-RE4 games. I really miss when Resident Evil was about shambling, undead creatures and weird mutated shit was the outlier.
Do actual undead enemies show up at any point?
how does that make any difference? You move a reticle over your target and shoot.
Normal
Clawed
Leaper
Fatass
That's 4 right there.
Everything I'm hearing is that the first person perspective improves the game. Having less awareness and more empathy with the main character makes things a lot more frightening than in previous games.
To be fair you only ever fight the fatass once before getting to the boat and he's treated like a miniboss.
He shows up a lot more later on. At one point you have to fight two and once.
You fight them four times
>barn
>upper deck in the ship
>lower deck in the ship
>two fatasses in the mine
I'm on your side. Was replying to someone who was saying that first person viewpoint means the game is a shooter and pointing out that in 4,5,6, you were a walking one-man army.
Adding claws to a normal molded does make him a new enemy. We are already stretching by considering molded more then 1 type of enemy.
Even if we say 4 they are still the same enemy. They get boring fast and are easy to kill. Game blows it's load halfway through and then it devolves into rinse and repeat.
...
>madhouse difficulty goes full OG and limits your number of saves with ink ribbons you have to find
>game reviewers give it a high score as their contract states they have to do.
>user reviews are low 70s which is accurate based on the content and gameplay
Like clockwork
I just don't get how the Baker AI works.
I just got out of the house, and it feels like he is impossible to shake off.
The one time I got way past him and he ended up ahead of me even though there are no logical ways for him to have gotten there
I wish REmake had an infinite save mode. It's the biggest reason I haven't bought it yet; I need to be able to stop the game whenever I want so it's really inconvenient having limited saves.
I'm so happy this piece of shit flopped and Capcom can focus all development on REmake 2.
The AI for the Bakers cheats.
That's about it.
You can just pop him in the head a few times till he drops. Then you're free to roam until the next time he shows up.
>Crawl under the floor where you escape Jack the first time
>Fucking grandma
how did she even get there
Oh, the first time he fell over I kept stabbing him and he got back up
What the heck.
That would be lame. Limiting the saves adds to the tension.
Oh yeah. You definitely want to wait until you have a firearm of some sort before you start trying to drop him.
anyone have webm about bug where Jack Baker drive a car trying to kill you in garage where you can't no way to continue but restart
The first negative review I saw on Steam.
>loves everything about the game
>not recommended because it's too expensive for its length
>anyone have webm about bug
It's not a bug. Jack even says "No, NO! I'M DRIVING!".
>no way to continue but restart
Pretty sure he gets out of the car if you shoot him enough.
>yet another REVII shill thread
He crashes it and then you get the fire scene, at least that's what happened for me.
How much capcom pays for shilling ?
This is not the true resident evil and even so barely resident evil
>This some how isn't a valid complaint
Wew Capcucks really are pathetic.
oh, i thought it is
wellcan you please upload the webm
I played approximately 2 hours, got out of the guest house and I really, really like it. I never had any expectations, I thought this is actually going to be "we want Outlast audience" cringefest like that Alien game. Why does Sup Forums hate it, again? I know the answer, but I still want to hear the reasons, surprise me.
I know right these cucking shills
That's it I'm gonna go make a thread posting about a console I don't own but only use epic may mays as responses
