Keyboard and mouse is the perfect type of input for any video game

I doubt even PCfats would agree with that
Racing games
Come again?
>tfw own a PC but not a retard so i use a gamepad for games that it is a better control scheme for
consolewar babbies are retarded, sticking to M+KB just to feel smug even when playing games like platformers or darksouls is dumb
said no one ever
most PC gamers have controllers they pug in when playing a game that is better with it
What kinda controller do you guys use? I find the Xbox One controller does everything I want it to. Dualshock 4 isn't clicky enough and I hate the D-Pad.
kb+m: FPS, RTS, shit where you click
controller: platformers, racing, fighting, sports
doesn't matter: RPG, puzzle
Probably forgetting shit.
I have a steam controller which has the neat/gimmicky touchpads instead of joysticks
I mostly just use it like i would use an xbox controller, but it's nice to use the right pad as a mouse instead of a joystick for camera control.
Bone controller is too big for me. I actually prefer using a DS4. Just feels right
to be fair, keyboard is technically a superior input method for platformers if you can get used to it imo
i like the feel of xbox360 controllers more
Depends on the game. Keyboard is only digital on-or-off input whereas a controller with joystick can do analog motion
but it depends on whether the game actually uses analog innput or if it's just "on/off" movement even when you have a joystick
I use a dualshock3 because I'm too poor to buy another controller and I already have a ps3
We already have a greentext meme thread you shitter
>DS4's ultra sensitive triggers that input on the slightest touch with absolutely no feedback
I use a wired Xbox 360 controller. I would love to get an Xbox One Pro Controller, but the price seems too steep for just a controller to me.
Just because it's the perfect input method doesn't mean it's the best supported input method :^)
Depends on the keyboard.
There are some rare keyboards that can do analog and there is at least some DIY shit you can do to get that to work.
Mr President?
I use a 360 controller. I used to use a third-party PS3 controller (one with a keyboard, forget the name), but it was a hassle.
This one just werks.
DS4. Previously used a wired 360 controller, DS4 is totally fine. I don't like the bumpers on the bone controller.
