>The 32 GB card is ¥7,900, or about $70 USD. But on Amazon, the “high end” 32 GB SD card from Sandisk is ¥2,690, or about $23 USD. Past that, if you want a cheaper version with the same amount of storage (but with slower read/write speed perhaps), you can find one for as little as ¥1,180/$10.
This is why nintendo only included 32gb of internal storage
Go ahead OP let those shills rip you off. I'll be right over here
Joshua Taylor
I just won't buy a bigger card since I don't buy digital games like a fucking moron.
Carson Barnes
With Nintendo buying digital is a very bad call I feel you user.
Isaiah Diaz
The point is, little jimmy or his mother won't know about that and will gladly purchase a 500% marked uSD card and $80 per extra controller
Nicholas Rivera
No, the SD cards OP posted are made by Hori, not Nintendo, why they set the price so high is beyond me.
Jaxson Jones
POW
HAHA
Julian Bell
Probably high quality flash memory. Usually SD cards get second rate flash while the high quality shit is reserved for SSDs.
Brayden Ortiz
Whats the difference from this one and a regular sd card? I can get a 64gb micro for $19.99 and a 128 for $35
Blake Hughes
Read/write speed, those 128gb are shit speeds if you're buying a cheap one, don't get me started on the 200/256gb cards.
Brody Campbell
>nintendo sells overpriced memory cards >this is perfectly fine >sony sells overpriced memory cards >REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Evan Davis
SWITCH IS THE NEW VITA THESE PRICES ARE INSANE AND NINTODDLERS WILL DEFEND IT
Jacob Cruz
Real talk.
Is the switch going to be Nintendo's death knell? All signs point to yes.
Jonathan Gutierrez
The fuck are you talking about
Everyone in this thread is complaining about it. Sasuga sage you Australian
Chase Ward
I can get a 128 for a 40 bucks.
Jaxon Ramirez
>nintendo sells overpriced memory cards >turns out the memory cards are not even made by Nintendo >shitposters will still ignore this
Wyatt Ross
Hori is not in the solid state memory. More likely, this is rebranded Sandisk uSD cards. The only thing that matters is the speed, which is Class 10/UHS 1. Read/write cycles is not a factor these days with wear leveling
Sebastian Lewis
>I can get a trash card that is slow as fuck for next to nothing So?
Elijah Walker
Well maybe instead of being a whiny faggot bitchboi you go stand outside the stores and fuck little jimmy up until he's properly "educated"?
Robert Butler
I will buy a Nintendo SD card, because I don't know any better
Christopher King
>he thinks you need a particularly fast SD card
look at him
look at him and laugh
Camden Jenkins
Nintendo isn't selling these. Nintendo has a standard Micro SD card slot on the console. Sony has a proprietary memory card which only Sony themselves manufacture and sell.
Also compared to Sony shit, 70 USD for 32GB is actually cheap. That's almost 10 dollars less than the Vita memory card.
Luke Ward
A class 10 uSD card is a class 10 uSD card, they have the same minimum speed
Gavin Watson
Amazon has Sandisk UHS 3 cards for $17 which are 3x faster than the ones nintendos are trying to pawn.
Adrian Ross
>thinks a slow card is perfectly acceptable to run games off of Yeah, nah.
Connor Long
Link it, they could be fake. Both Amazon and ebay sell fake SD cards.
Why didn't they add more storage to the switch? Isn't storage dirt cheap?
Nolan Rogers
That actually looks like the real one.
Wyatt Jenkins
>image.jpg Of course the Apple fanboys would defend Nintendrones I mean Nintendo is practically the Apple of video games Hell, you even have a Nintendo exclusive
Logan Diaz
Didn't they try doing this with the Wii and failed miserably?
Isaiah Williams
>optional
too bad your autism isn't optional huh
Xavier Gomez
so then just don't buy the nintendo brand ones?
wtf lol?
Evan Thompson
Not miniature flash memory it isn't. Even a 64 GB memory would cost a good 40 bucks more on the system.
Colton Perry
C'mon dude. Second hand embarrasment is too strong there. The article linked itself points out the cards arent made by Nintendo and you can use Sandisk ones instead. There's not a good mileage for shitposting here.
Lincoln Hall
WHy did the choose that expensive memory tho
Carson Foster
>failed miserably If they sell even 1 overpriced SD card for "Wii" they succeeded in what they were trying to do. Which is scalping the consumer.
Jack Cook
64gb for $27 (@1000 unit cost)
They were better off using a harddisk or SSD like PS4/Xone
What a hero you are, caring about people that don't care about informing themselves.
Ian Foster
Yeah bolting a 3TB HDD onto a tablet sounds like a fucking fantastic idea!
Carson Robinson
Do you cunts see the words HORI on the cards?
Nintendo isn't selling any microSD cards
Wyatt Cook
brand name
Cameron Fisher
>Yeah bolting a 3TB HDD onto a tablet sounds like a fucking fantastic idea!
No one said anything about 3TB son. SSDs and and 2.5" HDDs are very light weight.
Cameron Price
Wasn't a failure, because for the longuest time, Project M was only compatable with SD Standard cards, which lead to stupid things like this
>2GB SD Card:$49.99 >16GB SD Card $19.99
Bentley Torres
Phones, cameras, computers, and many other electronics use SD cards. You cannot believe this.
Blake Bailey
>But mom we have to get the one that says nintendo on it!
You underestimate how stupid some people are
Angel Ramirez
Again, why would you care about that?
Thomas Lopez
Why do you care about what I care about? :)
Levi Bailey
So you don't have an answer? :^)
I like how you pretend to care about those poor mothers that will waste money. If you care so much then go camp out your local gamestop and inform them. Which you won't do, because you actually don't give a shit and you're grasping at straws.
Bentley Sullivan
>a hard disk on something that moved and tilts Enjoy the scrach, and total lost of disk >ssd hard drive in that little space Enjoy the portable bon fire
>Enjoy the scrach, and total lost of disk More like enjoy 30 minutes of battery life. HDDs take magnitudes more power than flash memory.
Easton Price
Literally "it's okay when Nintendo does it: the fanwhores".
Luke Murphy
>first Nintendo copies Invizimals >now they copy the buisness strategy of the Píaystation Vita Proud #Player here, I am now forever loyal to Sony. I can see where true innovation is coming from...
