Way too many. I bought it because of low supply and I thought they would be used but now they're just sitting in a box.

I would've been fine if they had released Amiibo cards like they did for Animal crossing and put different art on them.

I bought Mega Man, Pac-Man, Bowser and Bowser Jr. because I main them in Smash. I had a Silver Mario because I was going to eventually flip it, expecting it to appreciate like Gold Mario but the hype had died down. I also have a ZSS I bought on a whim

I haven't found any of the original Kirby Amiibo but none of them are worth spending 40 dollars on. Too bad, because I like Kirby and they looked well made enough.

Later I got Pac-Man and Mega Man because they looked nice. I also found the brown owl from Animal Crossing lying on a sidewalk.

I have a bit over 30, most of them I got Day One MSRP they look cool but that's it, I barely used them for any game. I still got like 7 unopened ones that I never had the chance to get rid of, I might just give them to my friends if they ever ask, I'm past the point of selling them since they're dirt cheap now

Not a huge collectorfag for them but I still like them. The first one I bought was Toon Link for $13 around the time Smash 4 came out. The last on I got was Olimar/Squid boy for like $5 each or something from walmart. Gold Mario and DDD arent worth much but I just like them boxed. All of us who got amiibos before 2016 kind of got shafted. I mean I personally never spent more than $13 on one but nowadays you can get plenty of them on the cheap. Best Buy, Toys R Us, Target, and WalMart are always trying to get rid of them with sales it seems.

There is a certain logical absolutism that comes with collecting shit. Either you collect none of them, all of them, or just the good ones. Since Amiibo are all wank, I have 0.

Also I gotta say, I think I've seen almost every amiibo in person, and by far the best looking ones are Olimar and Kirby series DDD.Really great colors on both. Nice details on Olimar, really cool how theres even 3 small pikmin surrounding him. DDD is nice and colorful and a really big amiibo. I think even bigger than SSB Bowser.
