Is this game good?

Is this game good?

Very. But I'd wait to play it since it's coming out on Steam and is going to have voice acting and some quality of life changes.

There is already a ZE thread going.

Long story short, 999 is good. Wait for the PC/PS4/Vita port.

akane is zero

cant you save your spoiler for worse games?

>fake spoilers
dumbass YOU ARE ZERO

Yes but VLR is better. You might want to wait and play it on PC since Im sure it will have better visuals and such.

GET THE FUCK OUT BEFORE YOU'RE SPOILED

>this fucking meme again

You just cant let it go that it was ambiguous as to who was really zero since everyone was zero in an alternate timeline

It's all downhill after the first game

Fuck off VLR was great. ZTD is what fucked up the series.

By the way, am I the only one that hates the Zero Escape Wikia? A literal mess of a wiki. It's a good example of what happens when admins are left to go rogue.

SOON

VLR was good until the forced fucking abysmal twists. The ending was fucking terrible.

>Fuck off VLR was great
It's still fun but it's directly attached to ZTD now.

>having high hopes for a PC port
I'm so, so sorry.

Very extremely good

>Fuck off VLR was great.
The writing is the most annoying out of all the three games
>explanations of incredibly basic stuff
>over and over and over again because parallel routes means you may have not heard them yet
Also has Alice.

The twists were fine, the problem was that they never got followed up on or explained in the next game. The only twist that was arguably bad was the twist with the ??? fucker at the end who was implied to be some kind of omnipotent 3rd party.

That's just on ZTD though. Doesn't stop VLR from being great.

Why wouldn't you have high hopes for it? Spike Chunsoft's ports have been really solid

>The twists were fine, the problem was that they never got followed up on or explained in the next game.
No. Sigma being old was fucking retarded and severely implausible no matter how much shit Uchikoshi makes up after the fact.

play Root Double

>"game"
it's okay if you like b movie stories.

Why is she so cute?

Because you can see her face

I've played the Zero Escape games and Ever17. Which one should I do next?

The writing is mediocre.

The gameplay is mostly boring puzzles.

It's ok, but overrated.

Remember11

There are story elements specific to having two screens.

If I were you, I'd either go for Remember11 or Root Double. I've haven't played Remember11 but I've heard it's good despite the ending. Played Root Double though and I enjoyed it a lot. Not perfect but very entertaining. Blows ZTD out of the water.

>code 18
Never played it but I think that is the one game in that image that is garbage. You know that when the intended audience rips apart a game in reviews, it must be pretty shitty. That appears to be the case with this game. Never played it though.

Vlr and ztd are both great games, but not as good as 999. They both have there own very specific problems.

Just to add to this, it took me 75+ hours to get through the main bulk of Root Double. May take you more or less time depending if you speed read and what endings you get. I'd say expect at least 50+ hours.

>game

You interact with it and it has win/lose conditions

Remember11 and Root Double were the ones I see the most discussion about so those were top of the list. I think I'll play Root Double first. After playing 4 games and watching Punchline I get Uchikoshi's writing style. It'll be nice to play something that is related but has a different author.

That's alright. I've played long VNs before

Quiet junpei, 06 isn't cute at all.

Where? I see very little discussion on Sup Forums about Remember11 and it is usually inside of a Zero Escape thread. I've only seen Root Double discussed once and that was inside of a Zero Escape thread, again.

>I think I'll play Root Double first
Please do user. It would be fun to talk about the game with someone else here on Sup Forums. I'm selfish.

>After playing 4 games and watching Punchline I get Uchikoshi's writing style. It'll be nice to play something that is related but has a different author.
The Punchline anime was... crappy although not the worst thing in the world. A show you watch on a cold and rainy day when you have nothing to do and want to kill time.

>That's alright. I've played long VNs before
That was definitely a good length for me. I'd generally play a few hours each night because that's all the time I would have. At any rate, it lets you know it isn't a short novel.
