I can't believe I waited years to play this because of Sup Forums's fearmongering. The last few chapters were excellent and so was the pacing. I'm convinced that those who disagree did not do all the subscenarios, and that's why they complain about the "repetitive" main quest.

Never listen to Sup Forums about anything.

I was planning on doing all the side stuff in the repeat worlds 'cause they were adding more to the story even if little by little, but then the last 2 or so repeats completely discarded the progression and just put random bullshit there, i suppose there is an appeal to some about seeing Victoria discussing girl power with that hunter chick but it completely threw me off

Personally I found the repetition of awakening the crystals to be a brutally effective plot device. By the 3rd time you've done it you certainly have a sense that something is really wrong which makes it tense as fuck

But by the 3rd time the game made it obvious a long time ago that "there's an evil one among you" and the party just acts like ignorant idiots walking into her trap

As someone who has been spoiled but still playing the game the 6 dragons are already a chore for me. I enjoyed the game...i even had moments from one day to the next when i was thinking about how to change things around just so i could win. I changed my jobs and secondary jobs many times just so i could defeat bosses by a small margin. Are there really people who got through the first 4 chapters without any problems?

I DID do all the side/subscenarios every available chance, but it does not change the fact that those final chapters are repetitive dogshit in an otherwise incredible and fun JRPG.
The Characters are great. The voices in English and Japanese are good. The Style is charming. The game mechanics are fun to abuse(if you wish to). The ability to turn on/off encounters and change difficulty on the fly is what all Final Fantasy games should have. Finally, the music is a 12/10.

The final chapters are a fucking chore, and the payoff of getting to see slight differences in all the side-characters lives' is not worth the repetition.
Also, the "pay2win" where you can buy bravely second tokens or whatever is a horrible blemish on an otherwise clean-cut, no bullshit, game.

I really wish Magnolia had been more interesting as a character but she was definately the most attractive.

Game is too easy to break even at that point.

I hate how her character goes from super warrior from the moon to normal party member a bunch of times. The french accent gets me off though.

I dont know if i caused a misunderstanding but what i meant to say was that the game felt hard for me. I defeated victor and victoria cu aspir and drain because agnes had no more mp and i had no more mp pots.

Costumes and Age of characters were altered due to it being underage in certain sexy situations.

Victor and Victoria battle is a perfect example to show how easy it is to break this shit. Literally pop up 4x Reflect and they can't hit you.

BD and BS are pretty much the best JRPGs to be released in fucking forever.
