What are some good obscure games that aren't on this list? Ones that would be Gregor or below.
What are some good obscure games that aren't on this list? Ones that would be Gregor or below
>obscure
>good
Pick one. Most of the time games tend to be obscure because they aren't good enough to be cared about. inb4 some asshat tries to directly equate popularity to quality, the whole point is obscurity generally doesn't breed quality.
>murder dog NES
what is this, everytime I try to look it up all I get is news stories of people murdering their dogs and other retarded shit I don't care about
eastern mind
It's on there. I enjoyed it, also played the sequel which was harder to figure out since there's no guide.
What happened to Flatland Rover, Pathologic, and Funny Pizza Land?
>roger ebert is gregor tier even though he didn't even like video games
Funny Pizza Land isn't that obscure anymore, I see it talked about here all the time.
Didn't know about Flatland Rover though, will check it out. Looks weird.
Flatland Rover is more of a web-based programming environment with old HTML modules that can pass for a videogame.
It has a small online community following. Recently there have been updates to support various browsers and scripts to create and built textures.
Also honestly I've never seen much mention of Funny Pizza Land recently.
I guess it all comes down to when I get on Sup Forums.
I figured it was considered obscure enough since its a single executable hosted by literally one dude.
oh, that and it lives up to its namesake.

>This got an english translation last month
i guess i go as deep as gregor now.
There's some popular let's players that played it after (I assume) Sup Forums discovered it. So it's not that obscure anymore, but the very nature of it is pretty obscure I guess.
counter strike 1.6 in oldfag
Does anyone here actually find anything below oldfag fun?
Well, Dungeon Crawl and Cataclysm are pretty dang good roguelikes and LSD is so fucked up it's funny.
Also I guess if you like looking at stat sheets for 90 hours, Aurora is for you.
A lot are pretty fun. LSD was fun until it started getting repetitive, and Goblet Grotto was really fun to explore and see how deep it goes.
And Worlds.com of course. I've explored a lot on there, and even met Nexialist. He wouldn't talk to me though and told me some cryptic shit.
What in the fuck am I looking at.

Worlds.com. Basically 3D multiplayer Geocities.

Here's some footage of the place. I didn't take any screenshots but at the end of this maze pictured there's a minotaur that moos at you and strange messages on the wall, like "As long as I don't look it'll all be okay" or something like that.

That sounds like the best worst idea ever.
It's great.
There's also some strange Japanese versions of the old Worlds.com client.
