I know the flatscreen is crisp and has a better resolution, but those consoles were designed for CRT TV's the faint fuzziness and colors work best with those old consoles trust me

I like the new pictures. The mouse and keyboard ones are nice, and everything actually looks pretty nice when it's not in the dark.

Got LEDs on my shelf, should get some on the TV tomorrow.

What do mean by restrict? It is a $1,200 monitor, using a triple monitor stand to hold both monitors up. I LOVE it, came from 3 1080p monitors in surround and feel the ultrawide is the sweet spot. Can never go back to 16:9

pretty cozy, you need to work on the lighting tho.

those are 1600 lumen bulbs, they arn't as bright in person but they appear insanely bright with pictures.

less tends to make the basement feel dungeon-y if it's not during the day.

only lighting the corners of the room with some soft warm light would improve comfyness several times. you can keep the bright lights for productive times. 1600 lumens is a lot and you have three of those.

so a lamp or something? i think it would take several as the basement gets really fucking dark.

i have since taken this light down but it gives you an idea.

I guess it's unfortunate that he did that do something that's probably pretty rare, but I still don't see why people keep using that shit as a meme, and I don't think anything of value was lost. It just seems a lot of baseless assumptions being made about "key to emulation" and hoping to find any decent playable games on it.
