What's the last Zelda game you played and what did you think of it? BotW looks pretty damned different from the usual shit that I'm pretty tempted to try on Switch if not Wii U

Putting money down for no actual promise of a system? No thanks. There are more than enough retailers around me, i'll find one somewhere. If not day one, then whenever. I'm excited for the console but not enough to pre-pay for a box they'll sell to some walk-in before I get to the store.

I'm apprehensive about Zelda though.
I just watched the trailer with voice-acting and I really, REALLY hope I can turn off that crap and just have subtitles. I hated every damn voice I heard with the 'old woman' (I guess) being the worst.
Shitty voice-acting very much would affect my enjoyment of the game.

I sold the Wii U because there wasn't shit to play on it. I know full well that the Switch will probably end up being the same thing, but I'll at least play through Zelda and Xenoblade 2, and then see what the state of everything is.

Can't think of one, honestly. I'll be happy with my Wii U for awhile longer. Switch is partially a handheld so it'll inevitably get a New XL or whatever revision in a year or so. I'll wait for one of those, hopefully a limited edition one

No, but I should have. So instead I'm going to walmart and lining p at least half an hour before they open. I phoned them and they said they don't take preorders, so I should be able to get one. If they don't have any, I'll go to EBgames which opens 3 hours later. I'm gonna be as early as possible at Walmart so I can get the one with the coloured joycons.
