The Saw Cleaver when fully upgraded. attacks come out fast and strong. The threaded cane is good but only truly shines when fighting mobs while the cleaver is better suited for 1-on-1 combat and bosses

Whatever. I'm on my first playthrough and breezed through everything, and just beat Rom, using only the Cane. It's got great versatility.

Most other weapons i've tried thus far either feel sluggish, or you rarely need to use both modes (like saw cleaver. Why would you use that thing tricked it's so bad)

So besides Ludwig's what's the best weapon in the game?

It's pretty much the equivalent to the claymore in Souls. Go for 40/40 and you'll be able to fuck everything in the game with it.

I did. I even upgraded it to +9, hearing all over the Internet that it was OP and yes, it does hit hard...But it's slow as molasses, even worse when you use its transformed form, in Bloodborne, a game that places a lot of importance on quick strikes.

Same with the Cane. It was the only weapon I needed, and it served well.

Demon's Souls has only like 3 hard bosses. Man Eater, King Allant, and that spear guy in 1-4.

I was gonna say something about just having to change your fighting style a bit, but if even the one-handed transformation is too slow for you than there's probably no point.

You don't even know what the term "mobs" means in gaming.

one-handed transformation mode is manageable but transformed is too slow and drains too much stamina. I preferred to hit the enemy more times with the cleaver since it swings faster and doesn't consume as much per swing

I've had more trouble with headless bloodletting beast in Depth 5 chalices desu. The camera angle completely fucking broken and his hitboxes are Monster Hunter 2nd generation tier so the fight is 90% luck.
