Is this a picture of the new Nintendo switch console?
Nah this actually was good
How did that controller get past the concept stage?
The Dreamcast had great games but that monstrosity of a controller would have killed it even if the PS2 didn't.
>ywn be a kid again playing rayman on the dreamcast
Not with that controller it's not.
>Kid
Found the young fag
No, this one comes with the standard controller for free.
Should I be ashamed?
I was a sophmore in HS and bought mine, I miss those days
Did you seriously think that you were so clever after posting it in the thps thread you just HAD to make a new thread
Yes
oh ok
OH WONT YOU PLEASE TAKE ME HOOOWOHM
Sorry that you can't waggle it for 2 hours before it loses battery.
I only have 5 games for the DC. Not really much worth owning for it
>Grandia 2
>Shenmue
>Skies of Arcadia
>Super Magnetic Neo
>EGG
Any recommendations?
You have 10 seconds to name a good Dreamcast game that isn't Shenmue or arcade ports.
The Joycons batteries are 20 hours fuckwit
Skies of arcadia
Shenmue 2
Soul Calibur
Shenmue 2
Chu chu rocket
Space bunny DDR game w/e it was called
Fuck tons of fighting games, esp MVC 2
Sonic Adventure 1and 2
There a bunch. Can't remember the name to
Really, there are lots, it's just been ages, evolution 1 and 2 solely existed to be true first jrpgs on DC, avoid timestalkers at all costs
Jet set radio, chuchu rocket
>Space bunny DDR game w/e it was called
Space Channel 5
Resident Evil Code Veronica
Power Stone
Power Stone 2
Jet Set Radio
Lol thanks bro, I couldn't remember and I'm mobile typing
It's actually quite comfy. The gimmicky VMU makes it look worse than it is.
Gundam Side Story was fun as fuck, even if you could be it in an hour.
>ports weren't shitty
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
JET SET RADIOOOOOOOO
NIGGER DEVS ARE STILL MAKING GAMES FOR IT
en.wikipedia.org
GO BUY/PIRATE GUNLORD MOTHERFUCKER

IT'S NOT FAIR NINTENDO WAS SUPPOSED TO DIE NOT BASED SEGA >_< FUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!
>Tech Romancer

PHANTASY

ONLINE
are there any good shooters on the dreamcast?
The Dream Never Dies.
I managed to snag Soul Calibur and Sonic Adventure a while back. I loved the shit out of the console, my brother even more. Power Stone 2 was crack, me, my half-brother and sister and her friend played the shit out of it one Saturday night.
My favorite Dreamcast game after the Sonic ones was Toy Commander. It's a fucking hidden gem
Fuck you, rich kid.
Evolution 1 and 2 were a fun of fun
Why do all the kids on Sup Forums think the Dreamcast had an uncomfortable controller?
You know, Sega's run as a third party dev/publisher has been pretty good on the whole.
>no longer have to suck EA dick to survive
>multiplatform flexibility
>games actually get decent PC ports
>sonic team may be finally getting their act together
>got tricked by gearbox, but in turn ensured that gearbox has been blacklisted and wasted all of their money on battleborn
>making good use of THQ's IPs
Because they're too young to have had a dreamcast, and have never held the controller.
The controller's fine, not the best, but by no means bad.
Console wars were decided on whether you have tiny hands (sony), gorilla hands (microsoft), or alien hands (nintendo). Sega controllers are for people with regular hands.
It's a decent controller that does what it needs to, but as someone who loves fighting games, it was a fucking frustrating pad to play on. My fingers still get sore from the triggers.
Oh so you're the one guy that played it
That's why it also had one of the best sticks for a console, retard. If you were a nigger who only played fighting games you had a perfect option.
>they dropped this game
is a shame, then again they were progressing too slow
I know you're trying, but you're losing.
Lol i bought and beat both, the first solely existed to be the first 128bit RPG, but you were smart if you fucking avoided timestalkers like the plauge
D2, there were tons of sidescrolling shooters too
I can kinda understand it. The Original Xbox controller and its successors basically are the same controller, except less angular and with a second stick. Compared to the more current stuff from the duke onwards, it's a bit less comfortable and honestly I'd say it's a bit less comfortable than the saturn's own 3d pad, but I doubt there's a lot of younger kids who have that these days. DC's controller is nothing like trying to use an n64 controller with a fucked up joystick though. That shit's genuinely painful.
Sorry pal, but you outed yourself as never having played with one the second you tried to call the controller bad.
Small penis hands
It's biggest downside was no shoulder buttons.
Other than that though, it was a perfectly fine controller.
Shit, anyone who really complains about controllers at all from that era, never experienced the pain of NES-palm.
Recommend me some underrated games not on this list.
Price is not a factor.
Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram
Resident Evil: Code Veronica
Airforce Delta
Dead or Alive 2
Dynamite Cop
Hydro Thunder
Ikaruga
Iron Aces
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
And a whole bunch of others. Just wiki the list and pick what you remember/sounds good.
Oh, fuck, and NFL Blitz.
Really should kick myself for forgetting that one.
The joystick is mediocre at best and nobody in their right mind uses the joystick for fighting games, retard.
>Blue stinger is a good game
I wish this meme would end.
there was a fucking amazing first person gundam game on it but i can't recall the name for the life of me.
yep, played it non-stop when my parents took away my computer access.
Gundam Side Story 0079
Virtual O--
>no arcade ports
FUCK
Uh, Jet Set Radio?
TOKYO
XTREME
RACER
2
NIGGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bangai-O.
Apologize.
Way ahead of it's time.
>even when sega was financially in the shit they still took a risk and had the balls to make the most expensive game at the time and its niche as fuck
definitely, bleemcast was a better ps1 emulator than the fucking ps3
Company stock isn't the same as total net worth.
Relax.
I dont care. Apologize.
Tech Romancer and Cannon Spike are always a must for how original they were
No. Japanese business men do that kind of shit all the time. It's actually kind of expected of them.
It's not like he died penniless and miserable.

The controller is ass
Your troll game is weak, and as it's been stated, only retards who never actually handled one have that opinion.
They're not thick like the OG Xbox controllers, and the button placement is far better.
Go handle one before you make a judgment.
Found the Nintoddler
Chu Chu Rocket is objectively the best party game ever made and Sega is retarded for not bringing it back as some cheap downloadable title on modern platforms. Mobile doesn't count.
What games made effective use of the VMU? Both connected to the controller or separated. And is it possible to get the batteries to last longer than thirty minutes?
