What headphones do you use for gaming?
What headphones do you use for gaming?
this badboy
>headphones
Lmao
JVC gumy headphones. Anything else is objectively wrong.
They aren't Sennheiser Urbans.
These
my philips x2s are on the way currently. that plus a vmoda boompro mic
I have the playstation gold 2.0 headset. Simply because I wanted a wireless headset for my PC and I got it on sale for £35.
HyperX Cloud
Turtle beach p11. Earpad is a god tier, almost 4 years, still no sign of wearing off
These
Was using wireless Corsair Void last year, but I decided to stop when the charging usb started melting and I started to smell burning electronics around my face
/thread
Usually my apple earbuds. Sometimes my ancient Earforce X1 set.
I use speakers
Never mind the brand but I use generic 7 dollar buds since big headphones feel like a vice on your head after a short while and hurt if you wear glasses. And the sound is still better in tiny buds than any big headphone I've ever owned.
I use this badboy right here. A Logitech® G933 Artemis Spectrum.
Being a hardcore gamer myself, I like to feel the game like I'm there and pwn some noobs. And the surround sound on this thing is so amazing! You will never want to go back to your old headphones.
I eriously recommend buying this headphone. You won't regret. Try it while playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim® and you will know what I mean.
I could get these for same price as my current G35, but I chose the g35. Are they gud?
...
...
>Totally not a logitech rep post.
You fancy sitting under my desk and playing with my dick while I play games?
Klipsh pro studio SPEAKERS
...
Bought these on a whim off of amazon, they don't have a mic or anything, but they're really pretty great.
Good quality, and they're lightweight. They are intended to be like, workout headphones, and can fold up for storage, but they work just fine for gaming, besides the lack of a microphone.
Nah, mate. I swer on me mum. I'm a regular costumer such as yourself. If I were really a Logitech® Rep, I woldn't post here.
Nope.
...
Same ones I use for everything.
...
I have an old pair of Razer Megalodons.
They're not the best, but they're comfy as fuck. When they inevitably die, I'll probably just switch over to my Sennheisers.
>gaming headhones
>not being an audiophile
SAD
Who the fuck uses headphones?
Honestly?
Move out of your parents house and get speakers like an adult.
Nice headphones Donald.
AKG K240 studio headphones that I have for listening to vinyl are also great for vidya. They have extremely accurate reproduction. Not too hot or too cool. They are fantastic.
This and my pc hooked up to a Kenwood KA-127
Yeah I sure do love it when I'm talking to people using a mic and they can hear my speaker blaring their voices back to them.
Used to have those. After two hours of use it felt like having my head in a vice. How do you manage?
>step on headphones
>drive to Best Buy and buy the cheapest brand
>they're perfectly adequate
>rinse, repeat
I used to use a pair of HD598s before I swapped them for these guys.
Sounds like a super bad trade yeah, but I value wirelessness quite a bit so I'm happy with it. These are super comfy too comparatively to the HD598s.
Sennheisers with a Blue desktop mic
Best budget headphones coming through.
Unironically, these. I listen to a lot of music as well. These also aren't my only pair of fancy headphones ecksdee
Astro A40s.
The whole corded thing kinda sucks as of nw. Maybe when I have a desk things will be better.
...
Whenever I have anything in/touching my ears, I get massive headaches. Headphones, earbuds, glasses, anything
Anyone else have this problem? Should I go to a doctor?
good headphones.
Hd800 or kse1500 depends on the mood
don't reply to yourself it's embarrassing
Plantronics 388. I like it.
they're alright but i had to return them because of discomfort
i must've tried like 10 different headphones/headsets since purchasing these, but i also return them or sell them because i've never found a pair i could comfortably wear for more than an hour
beyerdynamic DT770. just get some, Sup Forums, and you'll have a good time
>tfw fell for the B&O meme
learned that headphones arent comfy
Just some good speakers and a great mic works for me
I've wanted to grab a pair ever since I saw them on House of Cards....but they don't work with phones/PCs. That's a dealbreaker for me.
Well, obviously - headphones are for privacy.
>tfw fell for the sennheiser meme
fuck headphones.
If I had known better, should have just invested in audio equipment. DAC & amp does the real work
someone tell me the problems with bose pls. i had the mid-level pair -- i think around 179usd -- and it sounded great, and it was the most comfortable thing. i'd just like to know
i have this, currently, and they're great
I don't know which ones you have, but the QC35s don't let you turn off Active Noise Cancelling. Kind of annoying not to have that feature.
Fidelio X2 and Vmoda Boompro.
Threw in some M50X lambskin leather earpads because they are easier to clean and the pleather is irritating when it is hot doesn't seem to affect the sound signature to a noticeable degree.
>falling for the ear sweat and oil catcher
who /earphone/ here
>>>>>>>>no mic
i use real mics not some meme mic they slap in on those shit
>m50X
I meant HM5, the earpads are sheepskin not lambskin.
I use a Magni2/Modi2 Dac/AMP combo with Sennheiser 650's and a Yeti mic for voice input. Any "gaming headphones" are absolute shit and people that buy them are tools.
MDR V6s with an ODAC+o2
and a 50 cent chink mic attached with velcro, which actually has a lot less background noise than the $30 desk mic it replaced
good sound and mic quality. :/\)
>using headphones while gaming
How the fuck are you supposed to hear anything that's going on in your house?
If it catches on fire, if someone is ringing and it's a life and death situation or if some fucker tries to rob and kill you.
Are all of you NEETs or 12 year olds that live with your parents?
Paranoid or just live in a horrible neighbourhood?
Are you retarded?
Headphones with open baffle and cup (also good for soundstage and imaging).
...
u
I guess a bit of both, except it's not the neighborhood it's the whole country.
But either way, even if you lived in the safest place in the world wouldn't you want to hear a fire alarm or anything that can prevent your death?
Yes I am, now fuck off.
What do these do? Allow outside noises while preserving source audio? How does that work and not mix?
Wildly overpriced for a mediocre at best product. Nothing inherently special about them other than the "wow brand" and nearly universal recognition. Think iPhone.
It doesn't unless you live in a deadly quiet hell.
seriously good headphones for $40
>wouldn't you want to hear a fire alarm
You realise how fucking loud those things are, right?
What if the fire alarm tempo synchronizes with the tempo of an in-game fire alarm and you think "Oh cool, immersion!" and next thing you know they're scraping your charred ass off that Razer vidya gaming chair.
get a pair of open back headphones then
>How the fuck are you supposed to hear anything that's going on in your house?
By not keeping the volume at retarded levels.
>hearing fire
Sennheiser Zero
still unless its open back, large expensive headphones isolate really well, close to construction hearing protection
>fire alarm
>fires with alarms
Superlux HD668B, $35
- Removable cable, can be exchanged for any standard $1 aux cable
- 50mm neodymium drivers
- 10hz to 30,000hz frequency range
HyperX Cloud Revolver, $150
- Non-detachable cable, average lifespan 6 months
- 50mm neodymium drivers
- 12hz to 28,000hz frequency range
Even the hearing protection used at construction sites doesn't offer complete isolation. If you can't hear what's happening around you just lower the volume. Your ears will thank you.
>gaming
I play on mute, yeah I'm a silence weirdo and made my PC as silent as 35 decibels when gaming, can do better though, waiting for SSDs to be reliable.
Some cheap Philips I got for $10.
No point in paying more unless you are one of those Sup Forums autists.
>- 10hz to 30,000hz frequency range
why?
598s are much more comfortable and have a better quality overall. Hard to use if there's any background noise.
M50xs for general use and if there is too much shit going on.
>can do better though, waiting for SSDs to be reliable.
i've had an SSD for my OS and another SSD for my steam games for almost 4.5 years now user, they weren't even expensive, just get with the times already
Damn, was going to post how garbage these are, and to never buy them.
DO NOT BUY THESE!
The sound is shit, and you bump them or even touch them the wrong way, they will disconnect/reconnect on you and fuck all of your sound up, making you have to restart games and sometimes your web browser.
I've already sent 2 pairs back because both that I've gotten were obviously refurbished shit that were broken on arrival.
Don't even get the wireless version, for the reason that the sound is so fucking shit for the price.

wow buddy youre really trying there eh way to go friend
HD 662Evo
$35 hi-fi headphones that sound better than 95% of gaming headphones with a 5 minute modding job.
From what I gathered it's hit or miss, I'm scared of missing and spending 300$ on an SSD.
Which one do you have user-sama?
...
...
>wearing headphones
Are you living with your parents? lmao
