Work this rationally into a scenario it would be used in a game
Be it a small e shop tech demo thing, a full fledged game, or a minigame/mechanic in a large game
I personally see no realistic use for this thing outside of shoe horned tech demos, like the only thing that utilizes it right now, that sandwich minigame in 1 2 switch
I can't even come up with any natural realistic use for the thing that isn't the equivalent of a tech demo, something to say "hey, this thing on the controller exists!"

Well that's why you're not a video game developer. You lack imagination
...
Yah I can't think of anything. It's pretty stupid
- draw something in the air in front of the controller
- make hand shape to solve puzzle/cause action
- put it in front of your mouth to read your lips
- simulate sword combat
- simulate turning a crank/pulling a lever/any kind of physical interaction with something in the game
- simulate gun combat
- use it like a whip
took me three seconds and i don't even know the full extent of the technology
A Pokemon that fights with rock-paper-scissor hand movements and evolves by beating it in RPS with the IR camera
The gimmick can't do any of that. And even if it could, it would be possible to do with a wiimote or incredibly obnoxious
Shovel
Pivot your wrist to jack off onto Peach's face
the console's already coming out, video game developers have had time. where's the games? are they just gonna be all day?
Choose plays for a sports game by the number of fingers you hold up.
Light gun games?
Ware?
Warioware will be fun
Hand tracking component of an HMD. Like Leap Motion but better because you can still use it as an actual controller when youre not virtually fucking your waifus.
>nippon loli panty quest
>capture size and shape of your boner
I don't think you understand how the feature works, user.
It can only tell the distance of an object within a small range
None of those you mentioned could be done with it (you could have wii-like sword combat, though, but that wouldn't involve this feature)
they literally said it detects shapes and showed rock paper scissors as an example
Actually, I was wrong. It seems like it CAN read hand gestures, so I guess
>make hand shape to solve puzzle/cause action
is possible (I don't see how that would improve any videogame, though)
Finally, hardware to legitimize dick measuring competitions.
So it can recognize a dick?
Most motion control gimmicks are based on some real-life action.
Throwing hand signals works fine in that regard.
The problem is holding the joycon in one hand and pointing it at your other hand. That's probably going to feel as weird as it looks.
cheap theremin emulator
Chibi Robo game where you're asked to find ordinary household objects and "scan" them with the controller.
These all sound like stupid gimmicks that are functionally identical to button presses in conventional games but require a stupid motion instead of a button press because “technology”
Can a video game teach me sign language?
lockpicking minigame in skyrim's re-re-re-re-re-re-release
I understand Sup Forums's rampant homoeroticism but I honestly thought this would be someone biting logs of shit before dicks. Admittedly the first is easy, but the latter just seems bizarre.
Great it'll be even clunkier than photo finder was with the abhorrent 3ds camera
Anybody see how the ir thing barely worked at the japanese switch thing with arino?
They tried twice with a girl but she couldnt make it work
>the software won't work well if the hardware doesn't work well
Well... duh. I thought this thread was operating under the assumption that the sensor will function properly. Otherwise, what's the point?
Multiplayer game called - "Jackin' defense league"
It's a multiplayer game up to 8 players, either free for all or co-op tower defense.
You have to jack off as fast as you can and hold the joycon in front of your dickcon to capture your semen laser. The fastest semen laser wins or alternatively in co-op mode everyone needs to jack off together in a sort of tower defense game. You will however have to finish at different intervals to win and you can double or triple the semen power dickcon laser by getting multipliers if you finish at the same time or within a close time frame with each other. You can challenge your friends and family.
"Jackin' defense league" coming holiday 2017
I wanna see a new prime game where you can switch beams by making the respective hand sign in front of the camera.
In that line of thinking, maybe just a game where you could learn sign language...? Sounds kinda lame, maybe a brain-age kind of thing.
