Yes it just looks like open world busy work with no real direction. I like For Honor, Rayman, and Rainbow 6 Siege; but every open world Ubisoft game isn't good.

Well to be honest, despite the cheesy ass story (personally I feel like they knew that it was, and didn't intend for it to be taken seriously) Watchdogs 2 was a solid sequel, and Rainbow Six Siege is an amazing game, so I feel like Ubisoft might be getting back on track.

I'm hopeful but still wary.

i'm not sure i mind the focus being on coop play. i've been playing a lot of coop fps games lately and i much prefer it over playing a solo campaign with shitty A.I. teammates.

i play shit like warframe and payday as pugs and it works fine as long as im not doing some sort of ultra late game coordinated bull shit. its just more fun to blast shit apart with people than doing it alone, bonus points if you top the damage charts at the end.

I played PD1 and 2 enough to say that pugs for stealth are a completely different story than other games.
Not talking about people that you can advise or command doing something. It's those "I no understand englando"/silent types that play it like it's singleplayer and STILL FUCK IT UP FOR EVERYONE WITHOUT ACCEPTING/UNDERSTANDING IT. FUCK I'M TRIGGERED.

wildlands looks alot less "number oriented" if that makes sense

theres less dps number optimization, less enemy scaling, less damage numbers. it looks to be a straight forward coop shooter with some leveling gimmick like payday

Yes. It's literally just Far Cry 3 and 4 mixed with The Division. A lot of the mechanics and assets are literally ripped from those games. Vehicles will probably feel the same as Watch Dogs 2 also.

In true Ubisoft fashion it'll have potential but the online will be practically nonfunctional for at least 6 months after the game's release.

The only reason I would give a shit about this game is because it has full co-op

Far Cry 3 and 4 for instance has either a shitty mini-campaign, or you can't do main missions in co-op and therefore only shitty outposts or side missions that are rehashed across the map. I want big set pieces and shit, not watered down content.
