Ahahahahah holy fuck I just spent like the last couple minutes laughing my ass off after coming to further realization regarding just how bad XV is.
So I started up Bayonetta 2 again, got to the first boss (Gamorrah) and immediately I started to get flashbacks of XV and that retarded as fuck Leviathan fight ahahahahahahah. This one boss fight that is literally 20 minutes into the game, is more satisfying, more challenging, and more well-designed in every conceivable way than every Astral fight in XV. Now I don't want to make this a discussion of Platinum Action games vs XV's downright horrendous combat, but I just want to take time to shed light on the fact that flashy, "David vs Goliath" style boss battles are indeed possible and are executed very well in Platinum Games. If Squeenix is truly going to go the action route now and forever, they need to look to Platinum to see how they can improve that aspect.
