It will be like DC vs MK and Injustice in terms of violence so no appeal to those that enjoy MK

Tekken Vs Mortal Kombat on Tekken's fighting engine would be pretty great. Namco (and even Capcom) as others have said won't like their characters getting toasty.

Yes and because taking about the violence of MK characters takes away their charm. Scorp's hook itself is already too graphic for SF

SF can't be done in the gore way of MK. MK can be done sf like but they would look fucking plain without their violence

If they could do it with DC then why not with SF?

best bet is the new MK has someone like Evil Ryu as a guest character who could actually be seen doing gorey shit like that.

Mortal combat is considered "kusoge" in japan (literally shit game) Capcom wouldn't want to tarnish their brand by associating with it.

And SF5 was so bad that it tarnished the brand for everyone. All of the casuals that 4 brought in have left in disgust.

Honestly a MK crossover is just what SF needs to get mainstream Americans to care about the series again.

MK10 is worse than 9 though. At least Capcom might learn how to program the PS4 properly. MK has acceptable loading times. SFV on the other hand...
