Low res older games look better on CRT's. LCD monitors have discrete pixels so upscaled games look like trash unless you play in windowed mode.

those female ports are BNC, so you'd need a female RCA to BNC adapter - the impedance should be the same, so the adapters are passive. This monitor looks like some sort of security camera monitor

Those are BNC adapters, the y/c is just s-video.
Just use component or composite, though. I've got the same model.

I played my PSone on a CRT and I had a CRT for my PC for a long-ass time (I don't wanna lie but I'm pretty sure it was up till 2008)
All I remember is that everything looked fine just as it does now but that my computer monitor became dark as fuck towards the end
