Describe what you think the best DBZ video game and Super ending would be like
bump
After the tournament, what's left?
is this official art?
No but he draws the super manga now soooo, sorta?
Fight beerus
I swear to god, if they brought back 17 just to kill him, I'm going to be pissed.
Isn't the Super ending just the DBZ ending with Uub and all the characters introduced in Super?
It's all but confirmed that the last few episodes of Z are now non-canon. Uub may never be seen again.
they still could sorta fit in canon, just the dialogue doesn't make much sense anymore, although its been a long time since i've seen the episodes so i'm not 100% on that
Garland is not Toyotaro
Why is no one making new cheat tables or save editors for Xenoverse 2
Come on guys
Damn Videl's hot, Gohan picked a winner there.
>Super ending
Goku and Vegeta have each surpassed all of the Gods Of Destruction and beaten the Grand Priest. Zeno tells Goku that unfortunately, they'll probably never find anyone stronger than them ever again, as Zeno himself is a power they could never comprehend and doesn't really do fighting. Goku asks if there's any way for Zeno to make it so that he can have more powerful opponents to fight. Zeno decides to give Goku what he wants, and does some time travel bullshit on him and Vegeta. The clocks wind back.
The next few scenes play out almost identically to the first few scenes of the first episode of Super. The only difference is that Beerus decides he can't be bothered to go seeking the Super Saiyan God. Goku and Vegeta never get God powers, and the End of Z and GT follow on from this ending :^)
What a downer ending.
Introducing God into the DB series was a fucking horrible mistake.
>Ending retcons all of Super
I'm perfectly okay with this.
Then the future would be safe.
They were introducing what they intended to be god when they brought in Kami
The ending should be Goku time traveling or some shit to actually be Gohans dad so he grows up to be a hero instead of a nerd jobber
Saiyan Breeder
You have 5 generations to create the ultimate warrior before the Saiyan blood becomes too diluted to contribute genetically
Mix with various races across the galaxy
Train with some of the greatest martial arts masters of the universe
Fight powerful rivals and defeat planet-crushing evil beings
Copious amounts of H scenes
>Super ending
They wish on the Super Dragonballs to forget everything about Gods and the new powers, and retcons everything after Beerus.
this leads into GT as canon
>vidya
Xenoverse but with more battles than just "lol teh bad guyz are stronger now!!!" - like, what if Future Gohan killed the Androids by himself? What if Tien fucking murdered Nappa and Vegeta with a kikoho? What if Piccolo and Goku beat Raditz without Goku dying?
Imagine the entire timeline the Z warriors keep seeing this random guy show up who helps the villains to fucking kill them, and then finally the same guy wants to help them actually fight the villain (who's been boosted) but naturally they don't trust the guy who's literally helped kill all of them at some point or another. Shit would be so cash
>Super ending
Goku & Vegeta fight Beerus together. Beerus kills Goku, Vegeta kills Beerus. Vegeta is made the new God of Destruction. Also Gohan stops being a little bitch.
>Super Tournament
The two Zenos have made their arena to be very special - the two fighters who enter will have their power levels be equalized. This way the tournament becomes truly about skill, intelligence, and grit, not just "who got the most OP racial bonus". As a result of this modification to the arena, Krillin wins.
>Krillin
>Not Tien
Literally all you need is human/saiyan
Saiyans get stronger based on their emotion, but Saiyans also inherently have a lot more difficulty truly experiencing it. Human/saiyan hybrids do not have the issues with having their emotions kept in check, they can unleash them at a moment's notice. That's the official explanation as to why Gohan/Trunks/Goten/Pan were so much stronger than their fathers at their age - their human side is what gives them their power
of course since they're human they don't quite have the same fighting spirit that a pure blooded saiyan does and are quite likely to slack off on their training, which is again the official reason as to why none of them have surpassed Goku or Vegeta - if they had trained even half as hard, they would have
I think a saiyan/namek hybrid might be stronger.
Tien is stronger but if they're on an equal playing field Krillin will win
>Goku & Vegeta fight Beerus together. Beerus kills Goku, Vegeta kills Beerus. Vegeta is made the new God of Destruction. Also Gohan stops being a little bitch.
Vetega fags. When will they learn?
Possibly, if only because they could abuse Zenkai by pulling off their limbs and regrowing them (like Cell but on a smaller scale since Namekians can't regenerate from a single cell)
Also Namekians don't fall in love with each other so that's a pretty deep well of emotion a saiyan hybrid wouldn't be able to draw from
It's kind of moot though since you can't breed a Namekian with anything else, they're asexual
Super has had far more character development for Vegeta than Goku
Shit, pretty much every character has had more development than Goku
Every time Vegeta out shines Goku it's taken away from him shortly after. This series will be no different.
That's only because traditionally Goku has been the most popular character. Literally the only reason Toriyama didn't turn Gohan into the new main character was because Goku made more money.
Guess which character is now more popular than Goku? Hint: It's Vegeta
So everybody dies when Gold Frieza shows up?
Nah that timeline's fucked forever
Time Ring prevents Black from getting undone by time shenanigans
The mobile game seemed to take great pride in shitting on Vegeta in terms of useful cards compared to Goku until very recently.
Now the last few new Vegeta cards have been extremely good and now SSJ4 Vegeta is arguably better than Goku's SSJ3 card.
and meant Goku's SSJ4 card.
>Literally the only reason Toriyama didn't turn Gohan into the new main character was because Goku made more money.
That's not true. Toriyama has said that he always wanted Goku as the main hero.
>Guess which character is now more popular than Goku? Hint: It's Vegeta
Let's see some source.
I'm really upset that Xenoverse didn't have
>Oh no the bad guys lost when they weren't supposed to, go make sure the earth fucking explodes
It's not like Goku and Vegeta would stop training just because Super isn't happening. Gold Frieza would show up, smash the shit out of SSJ3 Goku and SSJ2 Vegeta (but they'd survive, barely, since Frieza wants to make them die slowly and painfully) until his Gold form runs out, at which point Goku and Vegeta would form Gogeta and annihilate Frieza
DBZ had way more character development for Vegeta than Goku
Hell, Vegeta's pretty much a villain until a quarterway through the Buu arc
>GT is now canon
Well fuck everything
Really that should have been Towa's plan from the start, as they would get more energy from powered up good guys than the bad guys who were destined to lose anyway, and the Time Patrol would be way more hesitant in helping the villains live longer.
Pretty much. The addition of "alternate timeline" (i.e. movie) villains was neat, but it would have been much more interesting to have to fight the heroes sometimes
Also sometimes the storyline in XV2 was a little off - e.g. when Gohan hits SSJ2, Trunks says "unlike in the original timeline there are still Cell Jr.'s around, you have to kill them" - which is odd since in the original timeline the Cell Jr.'s were indeed still alive when Gohan hit SSJ2 - and he then proceeded to murder all of them with zero effort
Goku would most likely still do the same stupid shit he did in the original manga and in the movie where he foolishly tries to give Frieza a second chance, in which Frieza immediately takes advantage of Goku dropping his guard and blows up the planet.
Ok I can't be the only one who thinks GT is better, right?
>Magic pants
Why couldn't this have been the series finale?
i would like an ending that retcons super and gt
GT would have been improved if it actually was Goten who went with Trunks and Pan in the first half, then have adult Goku for the second half.
Also not have the Super 17 thing, that was just stupid.
>clothes beam
Goku would. Gogeta wouldn't.
>Goku knows the clothes beam
Battle of The Gods is the cutting off point of DB. Super hasn't introduced anything as good as Beerus and Whis.
Easily his most metro ability.
Though it could also make him a billionaire
Gay Turles was kinda cool initially.
I like Champa, Hit, and baseball episode a fair bit
Friendly reminder that Yamcha has defeated more gods of destruction than Goku has
Fucking up with making Frost evil was a stupid idiotic thing to do.
Champa and Vados are decent characters at least.
Because is a jobber and not the main hero.
Is Piccolo relevant to Super at all?
So do you wanna watch a naked furry guy fight?
>Goku never teaches any of the others how to use Instant Transmission, or Kaioken, or Spirit Bomb - all abilities which could actually be useful, ESPECIALLY the Spirit Bomb
I don't know how someone so fucking selfish can be "pure of heart" and ride Nimbus
He fought decently in the Universe 6 tournament against a Freiza equivilant and is coming along to fight in the Survival arc
He's also best uncle
NAMEKED
haha no.
His only contribution is getting poisoned by Frost so Jaco could notice that Frost was cheating.
Wait I want to know is why King Kai didn't fucking teach Kaioken to anyone when they were dead, not even fucking Piccolo
Vegeta's only better because he's AGL, which is the best type in the game.
He could be. He's developed the Special Beam Cannon so that he can move/fight/defend while charging it, and when fully charged it's fucking ridiculously powerful - it broke Whis/Vados' energy barrier and they're above Beerus' power level
>b-but it wasn't strong before when he's been using it!
He hasn't used a fully charged version of it since his fight with Raditz. And think back to that fight - Raditz was far stronger than Piccolo and the SBC still went straight through him after a full charge
He could conceivably fuck up even Beerus with it
He didn't teach anyone ANYTHING when they were dead
All of those things are heavily derived from stuff we already liked in DBZ/BOTG. Beerus was brand spanking new.
You misunderstood the z fighters. Most of them are too prideful to even do that with Goku.
However it was wrong that King Kai didn't teach any of the others Kaioken when he had the chance. Especially Tein who stayed behind longer.
Exactly. Goku can't run Shenron or Buutenks without penalizing them due to them being extreme type while Vegeta doesn't really care if GFrieza can't super and Oceanus gets KI from the GT link and Shocking Speed which is all over most AGI teams.
If other Z fighters learned Instant Transmission it would have made things a lot easier
King Kai only taught that to Goku because he figured Goku would only just barely be able to handle it due to being a Saiyan and tougher than the average human. Tien makes a habit of using suicidal attacks, he'll rip himself apart with the Kaioken in short order.
Speaking of which, I wonder why Saban didn't change the name of Kaioken since they were so intent on changing just about every other move's name.
I don't plan on using any extreme AGL guys on my team when SSJ4 Vegeta rolls around to global. I already have 4 Super TUR's in AGL.
The main reason Vegeta is better is because AGL has been the best type for a long time now. You have shit like Vegito, who is still arguably the best card on the game, Blu-Ku, the best demi-god.
I've rolled Vegeta's banner 8 times now (with free stones, fuck paying for them) and haven't gotten him yet.
I would be beyond pissed if it wasn't for the fact that 8 times gave me SSB Vegetto, Black Rose, GT SSJ3 Vegeta, and the new STR GT Trunks.
Vegeta's banner is so much better than Goku's that it's ridiculous.
>I wonder why Saban didn't change the name of Kaioken since they were so intent on changing just about every other move's name.
What could they name it? Power aura?
Xenoverse 3 but with improved mechanics, a more interesting story with hero/villain paths and choices, a fuckload of characters including what if heroes characters and improved graphics (make it more cell shaded like the naruto games) Also remove the RNG grind.
speaking of instant transmission, I have the feeling it's not hard to learn, seeing as how two of the main villains learned it instantly.
They made Special Beam Cannon the english canon name for Piccolo's signature move, I wouldn't have put anything past them.
I haven't caught up at all with this series Can someone explain me what the plot of DBZ is supposed to be about once they defeat the Evil side of the Wish Dragon?
Like what the fuck can be more ultimate than that? They already met the 4 fucking masters of the Universe and these guys aren't even strong.
Right now offscreen he's retraining with Gohan but I don't know for what purpose
Zeno isn't normal time shenanigans. He wouldn't be making new timelines or any amateur shit like that.
Makankosappo is too hard to say and demon piercing light murder gun is too long
GT isn't canon, so the Evil Shenrons don't exist (yet.. and hopefully never).
Super is must making everything ridiculous with the power creep, but they have met gods much stronger than the Kais and Goku and Vegeta still aren't on Beerus and Whis's level yet and they aren't even the strongest in the story.
I gave up after my 3rd reroll since I barely ever play JP.
And, yeah, Vegeta's banner is better since by the the time these guys hit the scene, the god cards weren't as OP anymore. I'm just waiting to see how they fill out the cycle and if we'll see a villain equivalent to this.
Xenoverse 2 more or less confirms they don't have the balls to have the patroller have to fight the good guys to the death.
Though you gotta admit, the Future gohan bits were pretty nice and bittersweet. Guess that's as best as we can get.
The evil Shenrons were in GT and are non-canon
Super takes place after defeating Majin Buu when the God of Destruction (Beerus) wakes up, challenges Goku to a fight, and then takes him under his wing to train into a rival
Then they have a tournament with Beerus' brother who is the God of Destruction of another universe
Then a god chimps out on mortals because Goku whooped his ass, steals Goku's body, and makes Future Trunks' life pure suffering
You aren't, super is very bad.
But GT is still very bad too. Just a little less very bad.
SSJ4 Gogeta will make everything else irrelevant if they go by their usual patterns.
It's also funny how I wanted Smurf Vegetto and Pink Goku for months, and by the time I roll them both on the same day they were already old news. At least I can finally have an entire rainbow fusion team now.
I disagree, I don't remember anything about GT that I particularly liked
Vados and Champa are alright. Zamasu and Black are shit villains but they have nice character design and they were entertaining. Future Mai x Trunks is a wonderful thing. Almost everything else has been mediocre to terrible though.
I have high hopes for Fembroly and some of the new angels and gods of destruction though.
Pan is cute, CUTE!
Bra was cute and slutty and totally irrelevant!
Tien has more fighting spirit
That's okay user, your opinion is your opinion and my opinion is correct my opinion.
I didn't like that weird 90's aesthetic they went with in the later part of the series
Where are those gods even from? Why are they more powerful than the gods of this universe.
Who was Buu even to be stronger than the tyrant of this Universe and a perfect being who absorbed the Z's powers?
Sure, but they could have called it the Spiral Beam Cannon or Screw Beam Cannon or anything better than fucking 'Special'.
At least Solar Flare and Destructo Disk aren't that bad.
But Krillin has to prove to his wife that he's not a pussy
>Who was Buu even to be stronger than the tyrant of this Universe and a perfect being who absorbed the Z's powers?
A primordial force of the universe that became evil and was captured by a magician to rampage against the gods.
