Was this THE best AVP game?
because I bloody think so
Was this THE best AVP game?
because I bloody think so
Yes
Shame the expansion wasn't very good
is that a jojo reference
It was pretty damn good but the previous entry was better all around
Yes, and multiplayer was fun.
the previous one
Yep, thats the one.
>AvP 1
>better than 2
The gameplay was kinda basic, but it nailed the atmosphere, and the predator camping was just excellent. I really felt like a hunter stalking his prey during some parts.
The first one was much more gameplay driven, only using the source material as a backdrop. Not bad, but I would consider Avp 2 to be the better polished and more fun game.
Yes.
This game was my childhood. I can barely get it to run on my laptop now, the textures go fucking berserk. It kills me inside.
AvP1 also had TECHNOLOGY like the blast waves from explosives going off down hallways.
NOT SO FAST
And AvP 2 was just a box with letters on it... good to know one of my favorite games has no technology.
>cucksole avp
kys
that was terrible
AVP1 ist the best MP game of all time.
AVP2 nerved the alien down to hell.
best part of AVP1 was to snap off your opponents head as an alien in alien hunt.
>Still not on steam
>still no Multiplayer Revival
we will never see a good avp game again
monolith is a husk of its formal self so count them out
What about Rebellion?
people still play it but when i went on no one was playing custom maps. so fuck that shit
i think theres some sort of full installer but i forget where it is
It was bloody terrible you daft imbecile.
didnt they make the latest avp game? that was not so great and it had horrendous multiplayer.
i guess with some modding it could be made good but i dont think any one cares about that turd now.
Are you pretending to be retarded or do you actually think that guy was serious about that shitheap?
you never know here.
remember the old meme about people pretending to be idiots then a bunch of real idiots move in thinking theyre in good company? thats what happened
>AvP1 also had TECHNOLOGY like the blast waves from explosives going off down hallways.
And the water surfaces in the game where actually modeled. Your jumps created true ripples, instead of just spawning a texture over a flat surface. Of course, there were very few, and only in small spaces, but still. Also, doppler effect.
Honestly guys killing everything in alien campaign was pretty fun
Yeah I pirated it and didn't touch other campaigns but still
I recently had to defend Quake's legacy, considered as not as much important as Halo's something like 2 weeks ago. Guy was 19.
Times are changing user.
at least i get to be a grumpy old man like ive always wanted
AVP2 best multiplayer. Even with the unbalanced bullshit (plasma cannon) or the other bullshit (stagger fire) it was so much fun.
I wish there are more games like it. NS2 is the only thing close but something is terribly wrong with the aliens in it.
>The marine campaign is more of an FPS metroidvania than a Metroid Prime game
The Jaguar one, all the way. Also maybe it was the bad, doom-like graphics and super low draw distance, but this game was more creepy than the PC ones. There was nothing more stressful than randomly running into a predator, and there was so few of them it was always unexpected. Only thing that sucks about it is the predator campaign isn't as good as the marine's and the alien one is outright shit.
I've seen people praising that game more than once here
Great game, stop being edgy.
Its a shitty game.
Why is there a fucking qte melee system in a game with a melee race? Why is there so much fucking press button for awesome bullshit? Fucking console garbage.
>a game having qte's means it's console garbage
>there is such a thing as a console game and a pc master race game
Enjoy your poop simulators I guess
No, it's fucking terrible.
That opinion is just the worst
Get ready for school user the bus is almost here
Even at release it was considered terrible. Rehashed campaign with very few content and lacklustre multi.
HEY
I'm 30 dude. Last time I went to school was when I was 29. I'm a big boy now.
