The triple Imprisoned fights and Mike Wazowski weren't the only flaws.
I found the level design for the dungeons to be kinda lackluster and the puzzles were too easy.
Also the enemies looked and fought a little too cartooney for my taste.
Other than that I had a good time with Skyward Sword.

I'd give it a solid 8/10.

Honestly the only thing that really irked me about SS was the lack of a proper, single, connected, grounded overworld. No one gave a fuck about the sky, and having three disconnected sections on the ground makes everything feel smaller and quite artificial.

Everything in the game outside of dungeons is a serious of tedious fetch quests, usually using Dowsing. Combining that with the total linearity of the 3 "levels" and you have yourself a failure of a Zelda game where you're constantly caught up doing boring cores and never get to explore.
