I try to play Deus Ex: Mankind Divided as a stealthy pacifist but I give up. I cannot do it. It is too hard. It's just GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER
In Deus Ex: HR you could plan your way around the guards. In MD there is no space and the augmentations are fucking worthless. I don't think I will finish this game. I enjoyed HR great a lot but I'm just in the beginning of MD and it feels like a burden to play this game rather than a rewarding experience. Great job Eidos, you fucked this seuqel up.
Nathaniel Thomas
pleb, MD is even easier than HR
you can take enemies down from the opposite side of cover lrn2hug walls
Joseph Hill
went stealth non-lethal first playthrough, it was pretty easy but then I got the invisibility augmentation and it was incredibly easy, git gud
Jace Sanders
Stealth Augment OP. Git gud.
Aiden Parker
This. The invis augment breaks the game completely. Good thing I waited till nearly the end of the game to unlock it. OP you're just fucking trash.
Charles Baker
I can't even get past the point where you're supposed to investigate the bomb site and the state police tells you to fuck off!!! I get killed all the time whether I take the route through the vents or the door!
Mason Brown
But it's way more forgiving than HR thanks to cover takedowns and the Stun gun being fucking awesome.
Aaron Hall
It's not nearly as hard as you make it out to be, even if you don't get the invisibility aug. One problem I found though is that the ghost bonus seems glitchy and it's easy to lose for no apparent reason. I did some testing in the ARC base in Golem city and figured out that moving unconscious corpses sometimes causes you to lose it, so I planned takedowns around leaving the bodies where they fell after that. It adds to the challenge, but that's part of what makes it fun to me. It took me 130 hours to finish my first playthrough playing this way.
Tyler Long
Literally all you need to sneak through the entire game without much challenge is cloak aug and remote hacking.
Leo King
you must be really bad at video games
Jeremiah Gutierrez
the only place you even need to leave a vent is the small shop area, to enter another vent
Xavier Jenkins
>The Supreme Enlightened >tfw we will never see DeBeers get put in the fridge now
Daniel Parker
I was kind of hoping they'd remove it or only let you activate it late into the story as it's so overpowered in both games. Only ended up using it on the one life mode though.
Josiah Jackson
Have you tried pressing X for takedown?
Liam Stewart
What the fuck is the point? Just kill everyone, fucking faggot.
Jack Mitchell
>you can stop both
wat how
William Lee
going fast. You can get an item at the bank/daughter choice that can either delay the bombs by 10 minutes (giving you time to get the DELEGATES first before they get poisoned, or an Orchid cure to heal miller or heal the delegates if you took longer than 10 minutes and they already drank the poison.
Levi Adams
Save up battery replenishing items, and just walk through the entire level invisible. I didn't fight a single enemy for that final sequence, just spammed protein bars and walked through it all.
Carson Rivera
fuck
oh well, I'll play it again when the inevitable sequel comes out also, the bank DLC is absolute cancer
Camden Cooper
>Save up battery replenishing items, and just walk through the entire level invisible this is pretty much how you beat I never asked for this difficulty.
Even easier if you have that pre order bonus that lets you break down items into scrap for crafting.
Cameron Morales
>the bank DLC is absolute cancer Haven't played any other than the pre order one that lasted all of 5 minutes.
Is it that bad? I was going to just wait for the inevitable directors cut version.
Nicholas Nguyen
the first time you grab a weapon, it puts the weapon itself into your inventory, but if you pick up another copy of it, you just get the ammo. if you wanna be rich as shit, run back to the arms dealer and sell every single gun you pick up, never picking up a gun you already are carrying. I got to like 50k credits I think this way.
Elijah Moore
The augments in MD are totally worthless, I agree.
The only augments worth a shit are the invisibility and the social aug (since that unlocks more stuff). I literally never used any others, including the 'experimental' augs.
Isaac Ward
>mfw I did this completely by accident on my first playthrough.
Dominic Evans
It's fine until you get to the server area, where everything is heat-sensor and you have to hug the hot canisters for 5 minutes at a time and your invisibility aug no longer does anything
my suggestion is don't spend any aug points until you need a specific one, I wound up wasting a ton on crap that wasn't even needed
Carson Lopez
Did a playthrough of HR a while back and had about 100,000 credits by the end of the game. Thankfully they nerfed selling prices a bit in this but its still crazy easy to get rich./ Especially with the insane amount of neuropazyne lying around.
>I literally never used any others, including the 'experimental' augs. Remote hacking was actually a lot of fun to use. Never even bothered with the rest though.
Aiden Foster
>mfw I did this completely by accident on my first playthrough. >mfw fucked up the stealth part and they began killing all the guests >still managed to stop the bombs and delegates They should have made it a lot harder imo. I didn't even know the timers were a thing.
Asher Lopez
This is exactly what happened to me.
I fucked up the stealth part around the time you had to get the 3 key cards from the roaming guards and just shot my way through the rest of it and saved everyone.
Charles Evans
The Tesla aug is situationally useful, like when you need to take out 3+ guys without killing or breaking stealth. Still, I only used it in two or three places during the entire game.
Robert Cook
>Still, I only used it in two or three places during the entire game. that feels like the main problem with most of them. I can't even begin to imagine where the icarus dash would ever come in handy. and there's no point in the peps one when the tesla can do the same and has even more range when upgraded.
Kevin Bell
>Not using the remote hacking Augs are useful. You just need to know how to use them.
Foxiest of hounds seems to be bigged, because there's a few spots in the game that trigger alarms no matter how many people see or don't see you. One being in the GARM facility the other being in the ARC area.
I cleared the entire room stealthfully in GARM, and it still triggered an alarm, wrecking my achievement. It sets off a mini- 1 second full alert alarm. It's an obvious glitch.
Also Breach mode is a pile of moldy dicks. Fuck that mode and it's spendy ass bullshit.
Gabriel Diaz
There's actually a couple of places you can only get to with the upgraded Icarus dash, which functions similar to the blink ability in Dishonored. One up high in the back of the first big hangar in GARM, the other is a balcony right above the subway entrance in the starting district in Prague. I don't think there's anything besides just regular loot, though.
Jaxson James
The one in GARM only triggers if you choose to contact Miller at the start of the mission. I've read that it doesn't affect foxiest though.
Austin Miller
it could have been the ARC facility one then, i don't remember exactly where it was.
And there's two auto-alarms in GARM. There's the one in the room after the sliding double doors that contain a locker room, and has 4 or 5 guards in a computer room with a security cam, and there's the ice driller tunnel after you contact not-malek.
IIRC the ARC one is in the room with marchenko's ARC desk. Or maybe the part directly before that with the TV station module.
I'm pretty mad i diddn't get it. It COULD have been because marchenko might have seen me taking him down? Maybe his drones got footage of me? If that's the case, that's bullshit.
Still a fun game, but i feel cheated by both the ending and the achievement.
Camden Campbell
I've read people have run through the entire game invisible and still didn't get the foxiest achievement. I think it's just bugged.
Michael White
Who else /foxiest/ here?
Angel Williams
This part is really hard. I had to reload countless times on my ghost run to manage to take down all the fake guards without getting noticed
David Cooper
The hardes achievement in MD was completing the breach mode. Shit gets hard in tier 3
David Davis
>tfw Disney Marvel got Eidos to make marvel games instead of more Deus Ex games >tfw Cyberpunk 2077 is like the only AAA cyberpunk game in development
feels bad man
Landon Wright
there's still two other parts to Deus Ex World, so just sit tight.
Plus the 2nd story DLC comes out at the end of the month. It's about jensen undercover in an AUG only prison.
