Is it weird that I have Vesperia sitting in my room, barely touched and all I want to do is buy and play Berseria? Vesperia just feels so vanilla, I in the mood for something with a little more flavor and personality.

I bought and beat Vesperia around 2010 on the 360. I still have the case in perfect condition. It's just a game I love so much, I can't let go of it.

Also it's actually kinda rare to find at gamestop.

Will we ever see it on Steam? Or a translated PS3 version on PSN store?

I know I'm in the minority here, but Tales of Xillia is probably my favorite Tales game.

I wonder why they never translated the PS3 but added new content in it, though translated the 360 version but never added that extra content.

I feel like even the beta version of Vesperia is still better than every other Tales game. Yeah the PS3 version exists, but the 360 version still has the most important parts in it.

It just had so many good things going for it. It actually makes me kind of sad that they still can't surpass Vesperia. I guess this is what happens when you combine the development teams.

Vesperia was fun but it's highly overrated. Story goes all over the fucking place. The fun part of the fight system, yuri's infinite and Judith's air stuff is only doable as something to show off on weak enemies rather than playing normally.

Let's not forget all the easy to miss stuff and the horrible grinding of gathering spots if you want to craft or do sidequests.

Enjoyable but far from the best.

The problem with that is it's only possible due to iron guard. Blocking for 10 seconds to activate unbreakable combo was horrible.

I've only beaten abyss but do any of the other tales have the same kind of combat as abyss?

I tried out zesteria and it wasnt as fun.

Yeah, most of them do, but the stories are nowhere near as good. They lean more towards shounen anime while Abyss was written like a fantasy/sci-fi novel.

I don't have my xbox 360 anymore, I had the old white one and it started getting red rings randomly (but it still worked sometimes) so i sold it super cheap.

Extra stuff isn't worth it. Flynn getting in party fucks the story up even more. Patty is just pointless fluff cause of their repeatable series pirate referance.

I'd say that Vesperia is only number one in term of pure amount of content but is beat in every other category

this is probably why it's my favorite. my first jrpg was star ocean 3 and it scratched that itch I thought would never be scratched again. I recently tried the Bersia demo and the combat was goddamn awful.

The problem with Vesperia is that the content isn't especially good, a lot of the side quests are pretty annoying and the dungeons, especially the extra one are pretty bad

Tales of Destiny 2 has the best gameplay in the series, not Vesperia, Graces or Destiny DC

It hits the sweet spot between being fun, technical and challenging

i played jude and when you fight maxwell, its like wtf, out of nowhere milla, why she here, etc etc that gets explained when you play her story.

its one of the few games on PS3 i have a plat for i just enjoyed it even though it was kinda just ok. X2 is more of the same, but i like using gaius and main character is pretty lame shit.
