Finally, Dyle gets his chance to be the OP of a Berseria thread!
This better be the main one guys...he needs this...
...
reminds me of that guy from Pokemon Coliseum
I forget
Who's number one again?
>this game
I was expecting a lot more edgy and cringe, not a likeable cast.
we've been over this, dude...
This goes to show that "edgy" is not a negative and can be handled really well.
I hope Medissa or Kurogane get their chance at being OP. I fucking love the side characters.
Laphicet
he doesn't look remotely human
i dont get it
Guys, in the last dungeon there are a few warps next to some pillar/statue things that I can't activate. Also, what are the spirit orbs for?
Medissa and Dyle get married and adopt Moana after the ending of the game
>you can use quickstep to replace an attack in your combo string
was this ever explained? i found out about it on accident and kinda find it useful at times. at least for me since right now i generally have elements on stage 3 and 4.
so i can just quickstep to bypass my first attack if the enemy is immune to it and go right into the next attack string that has an element that the enemy is weak to.
For the pillar/statue things
Tips for Stage 5 of Chamballoon?
Optional bosses throughout the dungeon to be used on those pillars.
Dyle got the worst ending
Big tits aside, the snek lady is kinda bitchy. And god damn has he got some shit ahead of him when Komoana hits puberty. At least he got to be human again, though, that's cool
Why is Magilou always fidgeting? Does she constantly have a vibrator in or something?
I only know about it because it was explained in Zestiria. I think it wasn't explained in Berseria.
Well her idolmaster costume has the buttplug so chances are in the other ones she's got something in there
Medissa is 10/10 waifu material though when she is taking care of moana and being the crew mom essentially
Dyle should have been playable. Best croco.
>hot dad
>hot mom
>cute daughter
Best ending for best boy.
I spammed Laphicet's Insubstantiality, only took me about 35 seconds.
Does he join your party/playable? Might buy if he is
This game made me want to replay Zestiria again when I finish this.
I don't know why when I know Zestiria just can't compare.
So does anything change if you don't finish Zaveid's side quest and beat the game?
Is there any reason why Laphicet's Deus Ex Machina power wouldn't work on dragons and shit? Or why it wouldn't remove the malevolence from Eizen?
>mfw she twirls before each big battle
nah he just hangs around the ship and provides banter
No. You're stuck with the 6 party members.
There are way too many characters that should have joined the party but didn't, fuck man.
Dyle would have been a great addition for sure. Maybe like a solid, slower swordsman with fire-element hidden artes.
What more can you do after completing Berseria's story ?
I'm thinking about buying Tales of Berseria (PS4) and I'd like to know what else you can do/unlock after completing the story.
...
What is his side quest. I found some family in eastgand that talked about him, but there was no quest line to follow. And I found the book that said if you kill the white horned dragon Eizen's curse will break, but once again the quest line ended there. What now?
I played Zestiria ages ago and I'm only interested in replaying it just to get a refresher on the lore. Can't find it anywhere online. I remember it being completely ass, though.
>Well her idolmaster costume has the buttplug
Post proof
Cheapskate here, is Zestiria worth 15 bucks? Not gonna bother getting Berseria until it's on sale.
I like Tales games, but only as competent conventional JRPGs with some entertaining side content.
Is Berseria as good as Vesperia and Symphonia?
Fixed it for you.
You mean in Berseria?
You find a book that says dragonhood can be cured
It's really annoying that 99% of the game's side quests don't happen until literally right at the end of the game.
His power removed all the current malevolence from humans. Malaks don't produce their own malevolence, so his power can't un-dragon malaks because it's not their own malevolence. It also can't stop Eizen from becoming a dragon because humans can still produce malevolence, so Eizen can still be affected by it later. It also doesn't stop people from becoming daemons again if they produce malevolence again (Hence Rokurou).
Go to Reneed and then to Port Cadnix
Yes.
cast/story is as good or better
side content is limited until near the end of the game, but is then good
combat is not as good
I didn't mind the zesteria story very much. I did however hate having to farm for equipment.
The book only says it can't temporarily stop it, not cure it.
Anyone ?
Anyone ?
Story-wise, it's decent. It's not amazing, but it's interesting enough and it does pull you in. Even if your party makes incredibly retarded decisions.
Combat-wise, it's pretty fucking fun. It's very easy to get into and seems very shallow, but you constantly unlock gameplay mechanics as you play the game. It really does get much deeper than you'd expect.
The music is pretty much boring, generic crap. Not much side content, and it's all unlocked near the end game anyway. There's a bonus dungeon that I think powers up the final boss if you clear it.
That's a shame, too many human characters in Tales games. Would add something different into the game and he did look neat.
The post-game dungeon and NG+
Each character has their own sidequest, and they range from just watching skits to fighting very tough bosses. There's also a bonus dungeon and a bonus arena fight, iirc. Honestly, this game doesn't have much outside of the main story.
if you want to get technical then only one of the cast is literally human
I'm pretty sure it says some bullets can cute it via Siegfried.
Then again, I haven't touched the game since release so who knows. I just want Eizen back
Is the post-game dungeon challenging or at least designed better ?
Is the story that good to make NG+ worth it ?
How does Siegfried even work?
magic bullets make magic
I want to say it was in one of the tutorial tips, but I might've just remembered it for being one of the few things I liked in Zestiria combat over Graces.
So, I cleared the game and I'm wondering if they ever clarified what the fuck was going on with the Bloodwings.
First of all, the old lady says that everyone in the Bloodwings wears a red scarf to identify themselves. Then, when they ask you to prevent an ambush, the ambushers-turned-demons all wear red scarves.
And then when you have to kill that pope dude, who was working against Artorius. He even accuses you of working with him. It all points in the direction that Velvet and Co. were pawns for Artorius to help consolidate his power, but from what I remember no one fucking says anything about it ever again.
>Get to the part of the story where all exorcists start armatizing.
>Battles with shitloads of water armatized archers.
>Get immediately stunlocked to death as the battle starts.
This isn't fair.
Is this my fault for abusing it in Zestiria?
I just did it this morning. It doesn't cure. I don't remember the exact wording but it's basically "It can apply various ailments including temporarily reversing dragonification"
Laphiste is for ________
RIP Eizen
Will keep on using Shibuya Rin costume on Velvet, they really look alike. Wish they included her song.
I've been looking for a videogame where I can get into a relationship with a sentient non-human male
does this game offer that
Poor kid, as if the bowl cut wasn't enough, as soon as he tasted freedom he got fucked over badly
Fucking water bow niggers
Spell spammers are the AIDS of the world
All undead, soldiers, snakes ladies and fiends in this game are cunts
So what's the deal with arte variations, just got an item that enabled them but not sure what it means.
it is possible to impregnate velvet?
I haven't done the post-game dungeon yet but the way NG+ works is that you earn grades in battle throughout the game and when you do NG+ you use your grades to buy benefits for you NG+. This can be keeping all your skills, having double EXP or having a bigger inventory. The game also has multiple difficulties and some are only unlocked throughout the game. So some people use NG+ to max everything out, others use it to make the game even more challenging, it's not necessarily about replaying the story.
i'm going to keep trying until it happens, just in case
Yeah, but a lot of them are really good.
I personally don't mind it, but I wish they just unlocked all of them at once instead of progressively.
No, sorry. It has cute girls, though.
Learn to play with Magilou, her Break Soul is OP as fuck the more magic casters there are. Fairies and Zombies are fucking fodder. Plus her counter magic often stuns and fully fills your SG.
Humans are fucking awful to fight until Velvet gets her last god damn martial arte.
It's just a way to let you use more artes than you can set. So if you have, say Water Snake's Wake, you can tap the button again to use the next arte in the chain, or you can hold the button down to use the arte that's displayed in the bottom right hand corner of Water Snake's Wake description.
making girls jealous
VAGINA
DENTATA
>Get to character cards
>What is this dumb card game
>Start actually trying to play
>Can't stop playing it now
H E L P
Oh cool, thanks for the explanation, they just didn't explain that so it felt weird.
But there are already so many games with cute girls in them that you can be in relationships with. I want a videogame where I can fuck a sentient non-human abomination
Should I play Zestiria now to see all the connections?
there are not enough scenes, ingame or in fan art, of velvet physically intimidating eleanor especially in a sexually suggestive manner
Eleanor is not for bullying
What the fuck were they thinking with Eizen? His playstyle is retarded.
He's got good attack and focus, decent arte attack, but his defense is hot garbage. Combined with his horrible speed, he's one of the worst characters you can possibly use.
His fucking attacks are physical punches, which would encourage you to get close, but god damn they punish you bad if you do
>that pic
why
DIE
YOU'RE WIDE OPEN
DIE
DIE
YOU'RE WIDE OPEN
his whole thing is knockdown into break soul
explain,i am curious
You literally stack focus and Guard Crush into stuns/knock downs and abuse break souls.
Eizen is king of clearing mobs.
more like Vagina Yeastata after not washing for three years
Facing a boss with him is a nightmare. You'll never fucking knock them down or stunning them.
And it's not like you can reliably use his break arte to have invincibility frames, since it's so situational. Velvet has the best one because it's essentially overlimit, but at least the other characters can use their whenever they want to avoid damage.
Can you explain the card game to me? I still can't fucking understand it
that spotless exposed pubic area tho
His physical capabilities can't hold a candle to Velvet's. She has wide range, quick attacks, reliable stuns, invincibility, two separate break artes.
Meanwhile Eizen gets ganked hard by snake squads. I really did want to like him, since I played as him when my friends and I did co-op. But damn dude.
Is anyone other than Velvet worth using?
>two separate break artes
Whoops, forgot to clarify that. She has two separate break artes that she can easily combo other artes. She's fucking godly against mobs and bosses. Even against groups of zombies who spam that shitty magic.
You can break guard into stun/knockdown on bosses, just equip the right artes to benefit. Most of his shit is hitting multiple enemies.
It's known that Velvet is the strongest character by a large margin of the playable roster in the game.
If you're facing a boss who's weak to non-elemental, Eleanor has great attack power and combo artes. Very easy to use as well.
Magilou is amazing... if you're facing large groups of magic-casters. If not, well then she's pretty much stuck spamming blood moon.
You match characters from corresponding series. In the bottom right there's a little icon that classifies them into scoring groups, basically the goal of the game is to match cards and stack groups until you hit the requirement for points. So for example, you might match Luke and Natalia, which gives you one marker in Storied Hero and Royal Princess each. Then you'd try and match the Estelle card with a Vesperia card so you get Royal Princess, which would give you 10 ponts, or maybe you'd try and match more Storied Hero cards so you can have at least 5 of them in your matched hand to get the points.
Velvet is literally broken as fuck and it's not as fun when you can cheese fights and tank hits into her finishers with 1 hp left and get away because of invincibility.
Picked up Eizen and had a lot of fun with his moveset and barely touched Velvet after that. Once I got the full party Velvet stayed in the sub party and I pretty much played Eleanor and Eizen for the rest of the game.
Her pussy has fangs and will chop off your dick
He's a CC glass cannon. Switch into him from another character for his break souls, play him at a range then close the distance with Flash Step, load him up with Focus for good ranged stuns. He also has all the proper support skills. I think he's pretty well designed personally but maybe if he were in another Tales game. The invul granted from other characters BS is just too good to have at any moments notice and Velvet achieves his job more effectively as she's a false glass cannon that can't die.
>Finally get Geoboard
>It's not really that fast
>Have to touch points on the map to be able to use it
>They're usually situated at the end of a "dungeon"
>NG+ doesn't carry over touched geoboard points
Th-thanks game.
