Back in the 90's a lot more people had money
Long term NEET here but I don't understand this. There are plenty of jobs, go to a fucking department store or something. Hell I saw a help wanted sign at dollar tree last week, I'm sure they're paying $8 for 20 hours a week. Just look for jobs high school kids would get.
>next to impossible to find something like a part time job
Any grocer will hire you within three days.
Now a DECENT part time job that can pay the bills? Those are impossible to find.
>366856209
I've applied for like over 20 jobs but only got 1 job call back.
how am I supposed to find a job? I often walk back and forth through town looking for one, what am I doing wrong?
So I guess this means finding two or more jobs huh :/?
What happened to the call?
Dont really need to look around these days. Go on google maps, look up places nearby you wouldnt mind working at, apply on their websites. Do it en masse. If you're dedicated, call the places a few days after you apply and inquire about it.
If you havent had a job before, go for fast food, big chain stores, that kind of thing. Realize that the second you have a job and can put down that you are employed on new applications you're hiring eligibility SKYROCKETS. Don't be afraid to get one job you might not like, so that you can use it to springboard you to better jobs.
ps fuck off with this not videogame thread dumb poster of frogs
How hard is it to get a job at places like Walmart or Target? I tried applying there a few times but didn't get a call as of now.
>tfw born in the wrong generation
Someone who lived in Houston here. Got 9/hr at a part time job and worked about 3-4 days a week. I barely made rent, let alone food and barely had money for vidya/my music equipment ( last game I bought was overwatch and thankfully I like it). Thank God I wasn't on minimum wage.
It's near impossible to find a job that will support you by itself unless you have training.
Why even bother with a part time job? After expenses you'll barely have enough to pay your insurance and phone bill, you're honestly better off gathering neetbux.
Depends what department you want. Again, try calling them about it an following up your application.

JUST
I genuinely think being born in the 60s would be the best ever. Get to miss all those shitty drafts, get to experience technology really coming into play before it was just the cyber security shitstorm it is now, you would get to experience the massive shifts in entertainment, music, media. Imagine playing a video game for the first time, as in, the FIRST video game. That'd be magical. Then when things go crazy in the 2010s, you're old enough to start looking at retiring and just living peacefully, able to reflect on your normal life before all this madness. Now people are going to be working until they're 70 and most unmarried because of horrendous social skills (if that's not your thing, more power to you)
The elites don't tell you this but unemployment is artificially low.
Our economy is shedding high-paid full-time work like mad and replacing it with low-paid part-time work. IT support is being outsourced to Pajeet, and the guy who once did that is now flipping burgers at McDonald's.
Things are going to get worse before they get better.
Buy guns, you will need them.
I reach back at several local places and they always say "we're full" or "maybe in a week" but I check back and always get the same answer. I think I annoy them and make them angry
i live in a red state, they only give you free money if you're native american or about to starve
Aight, thanks bruh.
Just enlist, my dude.
4 years of your life gaining good work ethics, having to stay fit, and normie civvies love that shit on a resume.
Wait are things going to get worse because of Trumped up economic forces?
>spend 4 years with dyel cocky jock normalfags
Nah
Thank liberal brainwashing for that.
No because the first world countries have spent decades disrupting economic signals and depleting savings by push through on easy credit like it's heroin. Guess what happens to a self-deluded addict when that heroin is no more.
I work as a busboy in a higher quality restaurant. I bring home at least $1000 a month, more like $1500. That's easy enough to pay my $500 rent and then some. If you have the people skills as a server you bring in more like $2000. Don't listen to the memes, service jobs are god tier as long as it's a quality place and you have no other skills
There are plenty of autists in the military.
Some people are so dumb you will genuinely be surprised they lived long enough to enlist without drowning themselves in a shallow tub.
video games
Lie on your application.
Getting caught just makes you better at lying.
>Being too pussy to join the military
That's ok I prefer not to serve next to cowards.
>full time job
>no time for vidya
THOSE POSTS WERE TRUE
t.military pussyfoot
>$500 rent
Do you live at home? Where the hell do you live that rent is only $500 and you still have a high quality restaurant within (I'm assuming) 25 miles?
good not-video-games blogpost frogposter
I was so lucky i got a job at some pizzaria back in november. Its honestly pure luck and rng in terms of time. I walk multiple miles across towns and highways just to apply for positions that i was rejected every time. Online applications are a fucking meme. Fastfood resturants are too cancerous and after my experience with popeyes for just 3 days before the manager but me on call(fired me), i never ever will work at one again unless i become desperate poorfag.
you may surprise me yet, user
Found the Sup Forums autist
I wouldn't be surprised if true but I guess it might be a small studio with barely average condition. My sibling paid about $650 and she lived less than 10 miles from a pretty big city in burgerland.
