Because the game is impressive, it's still fun, it looks good and the skill ceiling is probably infinite, there's always room for improvement.

My friends all moved to it. I'm pretty much the only anchor to it since I actively play it. They join me when they're frustrated by OW. I play a bit of both games but I rarely touch competitive in either. I just like pubbing.

They're both okay in their own way but I still love tf2 more. TF2 isn't as reliant on team composition with its 12v12 system.

Because after 1000 hours in TF2 I can officially say I'm fucking tired of it

My favorite community server is dead and very little of the guard is still active. I've kind of moved past both, but TF2 was a longer and more memorable ride.

OW is TF2 for the newest generations, the ones that grew up with the current "hug-box" internet. If you're buying crates in TF2 you're doing it wrong. 2.50 a key is still a worse-off price but at least you can trade your dupes instead of getting ripped off to buy more boxes. If you use the trading networks in TF2 you could save money.
