Plenty of games going for realistic graphics manage to deliver both good graphics, good gameplay and good music while 99% of """art games""" only deliver good graphics. At that point, you're in the wrong medium. It's like making a movie where everything is shit but the soundtrack is good and calling it art. If you want to make pretty pictures go make pretty pictures.

Kindly remember that movies were not considered a form of art until well after forty years of its creation, and that even if people do call it 'art', that only means that even more worthless walking sims will begin to appear.
