It is NOT a port of ST. There's no option for a classic mode, or at least this question has been consistently ignored by Capcom and their community managers since the announcement

It's a brand new game with different balance, two new characters, easier inputs and things like throw techs which will make it completely unlike ST

VR is the way of the future. It is revolutionary technology. The waggle that Nintendo promoted has already been forgotten.

Except they aren't. At all. Motion controls have been dramatically improved compared to the Wiimote plus, as reported by every single person that's played ARMS, they don't need any stupid bar to work, and they come with the next generation rumble.

Not to mention how you can just dock the joycons and use them as a completely regular controller.

The problem is the interface not the input, the gyroscope and motion sensor are as responsive as they can be, but if you don't optimize your interface you'll end up waggling like an idiot without any of it registering.

ultra sf2 would be good on its own for a low price. but this is waggle trash tacked onto a mini dlc game with the price increased 400%
