Name a better budget gaming and multi-media laptop.

Hard mode: No manchild "GAY-MER" or cheap plastic body designs.

Pro tip: you can't

Unless your some poorfag that makes no money this should be in your budget.

the gayest gaymers are those stupid enough to buy normie shittops

you really fail bruh

>$900
>literally using an already outdated video card

LOL

>960M
kek

fail

am I missing something here? Google gives me nothing for that model name and ASUS doesn't seem to think it exists either

>tfw I have a 960M
y-you too guys!

>"Budget"

I do too, but I'm not stupid enough to think my laptop can run any new games. My laptop isn't for gaming - I just got one with a graphics card because the integrated graphics on my previous laptop turned into a fucking bottleneck for even watching youtube videos

This. There's literally no excuse to buy a gaming laptop ever.

>acer
shit son, get an Alienware while you're at it

>gaming laptop

I got an Acer because they were the only company on the consumer market that actually had laptops that were designed with upgrading in mind. With Lenovo you had to literally pry the case apart if you even wanted to swap hard drives.

>cheap plastic body designs
>not ASUS
I have that exact model by ASUS and it's literally cheap plastic.
Also has garbage battery life even just for browsing

www asus com / Notebooks / K501UW/

Whoops, meant ASUS. Never mind.

If you're going to spend 9k you might as well build a PC not a faptop

do you mean k501ux? There is no k501uw on Asus' site

Of course it is not meant for new games at full settings, but it will run most games on ultra up until ~2014 and medium or low up to current games while still maintaining 60FPS

Go to the ASUS Global website

Asus is probably the mark you want to talk about but that's not the thing that worries me. The thing that worries me is that you came in contact with the filth that is a Lenovo Laptop. You know they were caught with spyware being preinstalled on their laptops? Don't ever buy anything Lenovo.

I didn't, was just pointing out what other manufacturers are doing. I think the Acer I looked at required you to remove the fucking keyboard if you wanted to get at the hard drive or RAM.

I mostly play weeb games, so I can still run new games at 60fps with everything on high.

Anything AAA destroys me, though.

It is on sale right now on amazon. Look up the ASUS K501UW-AB78

i7 6500u
GTX 960m 2GB
500GB SSD
8GB DDR4 (easily expandable to 16GB)

if you want to game that's shit

Got this for 1199 on black friday deal.
turned it into pic related.

>2GB of VRAM

did you think this through at all?

It's for more than just gaming bro
>Good battery life
>not a virgin detector
>will run most games well, even modern ones
>youtube.com/watch?v=Zvispy6BvP8
>youtube.com/watch?v=DkoERfbMEjE

>overwatch, a game made to be run on a toaster
>it can only handle low @ 1080p

>50Hz monitor

What

>1909 GB SSD
????

I've had a 1TB SSD for a while now, 2TB isn't that far fetched.

yeah, I don't get to play many games anymore... I just lurk and work.

>can run a NEW game on ULTRA at native 1080p 30fps
How can consoles even compete

>gimped 960m in the year of our lord and savior the 1060.

>can run a NEW game on ULTRA at native 1080p 30fps
Which game is that? Of the two videos you linked, GTAV was "highest settings sorta" and overwatch was "low @ 1080p"

Whats the best laptop I can get for under 400 that I want to be a jack of all trades computer? (some gaming, some school work, some casual browsing, maybe run a DAW)

>Under 400
what currency bucko

Overwatch was running safely above 30 on Epic WITH recording software running

Lenovo thinkpad refurb is probably the closest you will get, but IDK if any of them even have dedicated graphics. For a new computer, OP is probably your best bet for a jack of all trades light and thin laptop at ~$900US

How's this for a budget gaymen laptop?
