So after about 20 hours of gameplay I killed the two gargoyles at the roof of the building and rung the bell. When I got down I met this guy who talked about sins. While this was happening something happened with my laptop and my character suddenly attacked him. I was holding the drake sword so I did a lot of damage and aggroed him in 1 hit. I died to him hoping it would reset the aggro so I could talk to him or join his covenant, but he stays aggroed. So I went back to the bonfire at the Firelink Shrine. I was talking to that fat guy who sells healing miracles and then suddenly my computer caused me to attack him also. I killed this guy and just went on. When I got to the blacksmith Andre and the same thing happened.
Do I need to restart or is my game completely fucked? When I Google it, people are saying that only the guy called Oswald(the first guy I attacked) can fix this, but since I attacked him, I'm fucked.
I'm contemplating uninstalling this game because I spent my whole weekend playing dark souls and then this happens. I'm not a NEET that can afford to waste my life like this. It was going do well dammit.
Dark Souls
Restart your life.
I didn't read your fuckhuge wall of text but you're playing Dark Souls yet posted a picture of Dark Souls 2, so here's a dabbing Pepe and a sage.
>20 hours to kill gargoyles
impressive
>all treating me like shit
Thanks.
just kill all the npcs for your first run
Could I still win the game?
if you only killed the gargoyles you can start a new character and get to the same point easy. you already know what to do so it's not really a problem.
Okay but is there anyway to actually complete the game anyway? Do I really need to restart? Or did I do a fatal mistake?
>Thanks
You have to start DS thread with something like:
MUH DS1 IS SO GOOD! MUH OVER 10k HOURS! DS2 IS UGLY IS BROKEN! BLOODPORN IS SHIT! DS3 IS SHIT! DEMON'S SOULS SUCKS!
Than ask anything and you have a chance for advice
Yeah. It's damn near impossible if you kill all the blacksmiths and magic sellers/upgraders, but you could theoretically do it. Anyway, the sins guy isn't very important. Just don't attack other NPCs.
If you aren't planning to do PvP, he's pretty much useless. The only important NPCs are the ones that upgrade weapons and give you spells.
You might want to restart
Just go full darkwraith
I only plan on beating the game and then not playing anymore.
I've also attacked Andre. I'll try to disable my mouse so it doesn't happen to anyone else in the game but can I continue?
>20h
>drake sword
>laptop
end your life guidefag
You deserve to be treated like shit if it takes you 20 hours to beat the god damn Gargoyles.
I'm not as young as the rest of you. I'm an oldfag in early twenties okay?
It takes me some time to
What? I'm also in my early twenties, that doesn't make you an oldfag or give you an excuse for being horrible.
You can finish the game just fine.
Your weapon upgrades will be pretty limited but if you go with magic upgrades you can go to +10.
Just play through it man. Why are you going for a perfect run on your first playthrough? Enjoy the experience that the game becomes without those NPCs.
Alright thanks.
I suppose I can do magic upgrades then.
Seriously any adversity in Dark Souls just makes you learn to GIT GUD faster as you work around it. The game has a difficulty curve that starts out much sharper than most but eventually you become a killing machine as long as you're mostly paying attention.
But it will take me longer right?
To this point, if you chose to restart your game now, you would catch up a lot faster. A lot of the challenge in DS is blind-running your first time - now you'll know how to defeat the bosses, where ambushes happen, better class/stat build choices...up to you OP. I just beat the first one myself a few months ago but if I were still at gargoyles, knowing what's coming (and how much is coming), I'd start over.
No. There is pretty much more than one way to do anything in Dark Souls. You will find alternate ways. And if you really need a smith, there's one even closer to firelink shrine.
The other two guys you aggro'd really don't mean to much to either your playthrough or the story, Keep checking back with Oswald the Pardoner though, i think if enough levels are beaten he will stop being so mad.
Platinum...........
I'll see if I want to do it over.
Okay thanks.
disable your touchpad...
LMB is light attack
>I'm not as young as the rest of you
That is the most pathetic excuse ever read
>early twenties
>""""""""oldfag""""""""""
>So after about 20 hours of gameplay I killed the two gargoyles
wait what
it took me like 10 hours to get to blighttown and I thought that was slow (I went to the dark root garden first)
>early 20's
>think he's old
Holy shit if you think you're old, am I dying next week?
My side
