Middle Earth: Shadow of War

>Black guy
>in Tolkien-land

LMAO

...

God they're doing another re re re release of this game?

He's easterling heritage you fuckwit

Point out any significant black character in LOTR

Pro-tip, you cannot, because they literally don't exist

Only the Haradrim and Easterlings have darker skin

It's a sequel retard

...

>Only the Haradrim and Easterlings have darker skin
i'll give you one guess to who that black guy on the cover is

Well fuck me, that's... moderately surprising. I don't know what else they could do to the formula to keep this interesting though

>he doesn't think the game devs have come up with a black (good) character for diversity sake

notice he's opposite a white female, really gets the noggin' coggin'

Don't wanna say much (maybe),, but I playtested the game a week ago, and it's pretty much the same game. Just a new story and setting. It starts out with Gondor being attacked, and later this spider lady \captures the wraith and bargains with Talion in exchange he gives her the ring. I don't remember much after that, but if I remember right they end up kinda allying with her but just so they can get the ring back. There are only 3 new enemies from what I've seen. One is a giant troll. You dodge his attacks with either square or triangle, but it got repetitive real quick. Also, there's a segment where you have to take down these trolls with catapults on their backs, but it was easy. Even on hard mode. I clashed with a few Captains and such, and they haven't improved. Mind you a lot of the cutscenes and voice lines were incomplete and it was very buggy so I'm pretty sure this game is extremely early in development so they might change the combat in the game a bit by its release... hopefully. But, honestly besides a slight new setting and some new enemies it's pretty much the same. It's like they don't even know what made the first game great. The nemesis system, I really wish they would make them more interesting and harder to fight. Not just 'Hey look now the enemies do more damage, but still fight the same as they do on easy.... maybe just slightly more aggressive but no smarter.' EDIT: Oh yeah and more boring Follow Gollum segments. EDIT: code named Kraken. Actual name Middle Earth: Shadow Of War

it's from reddit, but this post is 3 months old, it's legit

Mace Windu

I'm more baffled by the idea of adding Gollum to the "epic cover pose" he looks beyond out of place.

There also appears to be a Balrog and Dragon

That overrated trash gets a sequel but not the actual goat lotr game

>not The Third Age

Apparently it's supposed to be officially announced tomorrow. Target was an entire day early I guess.

That game was awful

>Execution moves
>Chop in half with a staff
Top kek.

Wow, that's a special kind of retardation. I'll keep you in my prayers. Hoping you can get better user, you need it.

why the fuck did people like the first piece of shit? its literally generic repetitive open world meme incarnate.

and why the fuck is it getting a sequel?

fuck current year

So you literally know nothing about Middle Earth, then.

...

>being this mad about a game you don't play getting a sequel

>arabs are black

Maybe this time we'll get an actual final boss.

It was pretty fun. Isn't that the purpose of games, entertainment?

Snowblind got folded into Monolith before the 1st Shadow of Mordor game.

i'm more upset at the general state of the games industry, and shit games getting praise and getting sequels is a reflection of it

fun is a meaningless buzzword

No mention of followers. Not legit.

What games do you enjoy?

Seems like another game I can wait til it's discounted to 4.99. It doesn't take long.

is that dog kill?

orcs have been around for years, are you blind

>fun is a meaningless buzzword
You sound absolutely miserable.

WE

there was a black woman in the second hobbit film

Bravo Hackson

There's a gook woman the camera lingers on in the third one too

...

...

you play 1 hour of this game you've played 20

Halo games are super fun in COOP, doesn't mean they aren't dog shit.

...

Well, color me excited.

that's obviously an ayylmao in disguise, look at the bulging eyes

Does anyone even care about the first one to warrant a sequel

no

Yes

i loved the first one

What are the chances that those three BIG GUYS in the back are going to be QTE bosses?

eh

...

cry about it you little baby bitch

try going outside and being upset about real issues

so how much of this is going to rape the lore like the first one

Low because they listened to feedback and made a real boss fight for the DLC

What will the tax rates be like in this game?

>soulless westashit wins GOTY award from western industry hacks who only care about muh innovative mechanics

Easterlings would be more like Arabs and Haradrim are more like Mongols.

Seriously, there are no African-like races in Tolkien lore.

>Experience an epic open-world brought to life by the award-winning Nemesis System. Forge a new Ring of Power, conquer Fortresses in massive battles and dominate Mordor with your personal Orc army in Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

oh boy another wb game that will have 36 dlcs

there's literaly a black guy among faramir's rangers

prove it

why you guys are bitching? he is probably one of saurons allies, you gonna kill hin

I had so much fun with the nemesis system. I'd buy a sequel.

Post a screenshot

Wasn't the first one like MGSV, just, Middle Earth? Cause that sounds fun.

>fun is a meaningless buzzword

you need to be 18 to post here, anonymous.

The main focus was the nemesis system. Go check out videos on it if you don't know what it is, as it's the absolute highlight of the game and is what made is more than an assassins creed/arkham clone in middle earth

The Southrons are Middle Earth's equivalent to black people. They're basically like the Redguard from TES-- some kind of mangled mix between moor and African.

The main focus of this better be that system or I'm not getting it. I want the nemesis system 2.0. With bigger and better bells and whistles.

i hope they fix nemesis so you dont have to advance time by 40 years so the uruks can fight each other enough times to become challenging. of course of they do it will be "challenge mode" dlc for 4.99

There probably are, but Tolkien never gave mention to the troll people besides an offhand remark.

>Moors
>not African
